      Is there a way to get these throttles to work with a potentiometer type motor controller. I think the call them pwm?

    Is it the same as magnetic throttle?
    I have a twist and thumb throttle from 2 different scooters. The thumb throttle only has 2 magnets and a sensor not sure if I want to open the other yet.
    But yeah, are all electric 3 wire throttles compatible with all 3 wire controllers and is it the same for 3 wire breaks?
    Sorry for the long message and thanks again.

    Hi, i have thumb throttle that have start idle voltage 1.33v and when full run 3.42v, is this ok voltage, is this throttle ok and will this throttle work fine with such voltage values?.
    Thanks 🙂

    So I have a question. If a throttle advertises that it's Voltage is 12-99v, does that mean it's compatible for anything between 12 and 99? So if my bike is 36v, it's not going to blow it?

    I have a controller. It has 4 wires to 1 jst-sm. 2 pins for the brakes. And 2 for the throttle, which is a julet 3 pin which the connected julet 3pin cable is only 3 inches long. If I get a longer julet 3pin with open wires on the end.
    So I am wondering how I connect them ?
    I bought them from Fiido. They are a matching couple for the L3 bike. Would I wire the green and red together ? Or would I wire either the green or the red one or the other with one of the brake wires ?

  • @anio6865
    @anio6865 Před 2 lety

    I have a controller. And on the controller is a jst-sm 4 pin connector for both the brakes and the throttle together. 2 are for the brakes and that leaves 2 more pins which are of course for the throttle. But, the throttle has 3 pins. I dont have a multimeter and I have never used one. So,, if I switch the pins around to figure out which pin goes where. Could that harm my bike in any way ?

    I had no idea that throttles have levels depending on how hard your thumb presses it... I’ve been pressing the throttle so hard no wonder the battery dies

      @@ballaratebikes287 I have a great question for you, I am interested in a twist throttle that starts you off slow, because I notice that all the cheap $15 twist throttles that I a have used, knock you off the saddle as soon as you barley turn it to its minimal activation point, I am looking for a throttle that starts off very slow and gradually starts accelerating to full speed. Please refer me to one either through amazon link or a model and model number, I will subscribe to your channel upon you response. thanks

    ☠️ I've been experiencing extremely dangerous episodes of the motor not stopping as soon as I turn the throttle , related to high humidity conditions ! I think it's because the humidity increases conductivity of the hall sensors in the throttle . can you recommend a good throttle ? I think the manufacturers are going to have to make them water proof. I experienced the same issue with a different throttle , battery and controller. just using the bike after a rain storm is enough to cause the issue. We must have a throttle will a switch to cut power ! ☠️ Also stop using hot glue on the Hall sensors ! It melts were I live ! And make the throttle not Fall apart so easy , and they need to be made with softer grips or made to accept normal grip's.
