WZ-120 is a GOAT (for me). I love how much I must fight to make -3 gun depression work, it forces the players to become better!

yeah 100% something i noticed from playing mosatly tanks with terrible gun depression from the start is how easy to game became when i played tanks with good depression

The (lack of) gun depression can make this tank really frustrating to play at times, but the better the player and the more vast your map knowledge is, the more fun it gets. Overall I enjoyed marking it, very few tanks can trade like this thing at tier 9.
I personally have the T-34-2 (using the 122mm gun), and somewhat recently 2-marked it. It is an absolute BEAST of a side hugger, and many Skorpions and Su-130PMs are surprised when I 2-shot them with my grand HE rounds, or I can punch through the front of tanks like the T28 or a Defender if I choose to load the gold. Overall I hear that it is an underrated tech tree line.
Actually T-34-2 is good now after buff 122mm gun has good penetration I never try Mark my tank why I choose Chinese medium tanks coz I have 3D style of 121 that's why I got to go Chinese
T7 is a beast too
Tier 7 is living legend when I played t34 1 characters I never found t34 2 and wz 120 tier 7 is totally different
the line has pretty good and fun tanks, but the stock grind is awful
T-34-2 was by far one of my most favourite 3 marks. Amazing tank and so underrated. The 5 degrees of gun depression is not as painful as the tier 9

I enjoyed the whole line, for the most part. But this and the 121 are just amazing. It definitely takes practice and map knowledge to make it work with so little gun depression, but it's nice to be able to bully heavy tanks :P
The worst part about the WZ-120 mark, was how quickly you did it. I watched a bunch of these games on your stream, and this was a really entertaining tank. After you marked the 121, I bought this tank and the T-34-2 back, and I've really enjoyed playing them. You don't see them too frequently, so people tend not to be aware of the silly dpm this has. Great vid Kajzoo, looking forward to the next one.
T-34-3 is heavily underrated. 530 damage with HE makes skorpions and Su130s cry. Very good turret and good sidescraper. Only disadvantage is gun handling, but if you use rammer, vertical stabilizer, and improved aiming the tank is perfect. Plus preferential matchmaking, what more could you ask?
I wish I used bonds on it instead of the patriot.
I used to hate until they gave it a little buff. Gun is still troll but I really like it now.
It is, the tank is better than Type 59, atleast alpha dmg
I was wondering T-34-3 for bonds or KV-5 for memes? I already have enough credit grinding tanks + 121b.

I loved this tank despite the -3 gun depression while grinding the line. My favorite medium on T9.
I like this tank so much. It expect quite a lot of knowledge about positions from player but give a lot back for it. I as a 1500 wn8 player ended up with 2800 dpg even though I had some

spot on about the WZ-120. It used to be too loose but now the gun is a killer.
Several years ago, I used to "main" this tank. It's partially a hipster pick because that time was the peak of T-54 meta. The other reason is because of how dependant T-54 to gold ammo spam, while WZ-120 has both good pen at gold and silver ammo (especially for the time) so you could play in a much more budget way.
I really like the punchy gun, but it's sometimes also pretty frustrating due to stuffs like how your gun suddenly went to the moon due to a small bump in the road when you are trying to flank people. I slowly moved on and finally graduated the crew after the first buff they did to 121, so I have no idea how it perform after buff. Maybe I will try it again after I had enough fun with the new crew I'm going to train for T-34-1 (overall was my favorite for the line)
For me, the strongest one was the Type 58 actually, it was insane dpm
T-34-1 was very underwhelming, quite inaccurate and quite poor gun
T-34-2 was pretty good, nice punchy gun with decent accuracy
WZ-120 .. it's good but it has so many weaknesses.. The entire tank is autopen, the upper plate gets penned by anything but lights, huge cupolas
121.. I haven't bought it yet, I'm suffering from a lack of credits
17:38 I was in this position in my AE Phase 1 once. After a while, I got bored so jacked my tank up on the rubble(behind kajzoo's tank) and shot the gaps in the wall!

Ah the WZ120, my beloved. Still one of favorite mediums in the game despite the shite gun depression. I still prefer to play this over the 121 and 121B.
There's something so satisfying about smacking a heavy tank for equal or higher alpha and then outreloading it!

Glad to hear this tank is good. I had my best battle in the t34-1 with 5005 damage and 7 kills. And i maxed out the t34-2 in under 50 battles but i saw that the 120 has an entire 3 degrees of gun depression. I look forward to grinding the wz120 after watching this video
121 was the first medium i grinded. still loving it.
Might have to rebuy the 120 again at some point.

I have a really bad experience with this medium tank, however, for some reason I was able to make it work. The gun is omega troll but it has 340 HEAT which is ridiculous and it fires every 8 seconds for 440 alpha. I started to get good with it when I went with the heavies as support to trade vs enemy heavies. -3 degrees of gun depression is an absolute pain but it can work sometimes if you know what to do. I've used rocks many times just to raise the butt and aim lower, that's how bad it is.
working on the last barrel mark at the moment and yes this thing is a beast in the right hands
Man, I miss Swamp. The silly gymnastics you could (and had to) do on the heavy flank to get your gun depression was so fun. And then there's shit like the main road on Ruinberg, which is slightly uneven and sometimes you can't shoot tanks right in front of you. :D Love this tank so much.

I always knew how strong the wz 120 is but never saw streamer playing it its such a strong tank. you could also shot at the roof 21:00
I love the tier IX and X from the Chinese branch: WZ-120, 121, 113, WZ 111-5A and WZ-114
This tank has 3 main weaknesses:
1. Hills
2. Tracking tanks you are driving around.
3. Sniping (China gun)
It also has very poor armor, trying to play it like a heavy doesn't really work too well but that's the only place where the tank is viable so

I have to say I really didn't notice the -3 gun depression when playing this, sure I noticed it doesn't have good gun depression but it sure didn't seem like -3, more like -6. Biggest problem I had with it was hitting anything farther than 100m away.

Couldn't handle the derpy gun at all when the lines come out, made it to tier 8 and couldn't bear not being able to hit the side of a barn inside it.

The wz 120 is an absolute beast! The insane 60kmph top speed and a really good gun, ammo and decent armor that can surprise ppl

Yea i just took this tank out for a spin and its a good tank the gun is solid now . The armor is the same as the type 59 has good mobility ok pen and heat rounds . Oh wait i thought it was the t 34 3 . You should try that tank next you might be surprised .

So the secret is stack crew skills, equipment and "food" while spamming HEAT rounds. Enlightening gameplay.

Comes to the spot kajzo says, light tank sitting in bushes and spotting for medium tanks who don’t play like Leo PTA, and you get crushed within seconds, lucky battles get uploaded, but don’t go there in the beginning only if you see that the light tank is somewhere else or you will die
Maybe this is motivation enough to start grinding this again, stoppen on t342. Otherwise wz120 is just really sexy tank so i wont complain having it in my garage even if its boring to play.
14:24 this is happening way too often and it happens even if you are playing heavy. I wish those ppl were literally perma banned instantly, because this is the bahavior they will repeat each time. Recently I was farming dude with my autoloader from the top of the bridge at mountain pass and heavy just pushed me down. Luckily he didn't kill me, but I didn't unload my clip in the end. And Im sure that dude does it everytime he can.
Hey, man. I found you through chems old video, glad he gave you a shout-out. I started playing a week ago. I hope you make some tactics/guide on maps/how to play in general but not absolute basic. More like tips for maps, which I think would be more helpful. Or like the one in this video - looking at composition, choosing where to go with what you have - td, medium, heavy - i don't like light tanks so don't care for them lol. I'd really appreciate this kind of stuff. There's the lack of established mmo games out there so I got recommended this one and been having fun despite losing majority of time lol
How do you tell the dif between a good player (that has / uses all his advantages - prem ammo, consumable, equipment, etc.) and a scrub / tomato on steroids, in part thanks to "careful game design towards spenders" ?
Weak spots, game mechanics, map knowledge ? Genuine question here, as looking at your setup and "tips" on some videos and can't quite see if it's skill / money / applicable.
Context, draw distance used to be a box 1k/1k back when I last played, and gold ammo was the only "competitive" advantage you could pay for.
The main issue with this tank is that awful grind as a Free to play player, but once you unluck all top modules its quite a good brawler.

Like u said, this tank have a very good pen with both shells, so dont need gold spam with 8 normal shells and 30 gold shells.
MOOOM GET THE CAMERA I AM ON TV! I was the B-C 12t in the last shown game. Intense till the very end. Nearly threw the whole game by "lets go for 10k comb". I was so happy T95 bravely capped. I will never do this mistake again thank you kajzoo, Love from Germany.
Im a f2p when i got this tank i never researched the 122 gun i only used that 100mm so i can shortcut 121 and still you can play it like t55a with 100m
