Himalayan Adventures Episode 7 | Everest to Tibet | Turbine Duke

Leaving Nepal behind, I enter into Tibet. I spend quite a bit of time referencing the manual, talking about how to manage the turbine engines to avoid irreversible damage.
I navigate to Lhasa using VOR only and plan the ILS approach into Lhasa Gonggar airport, which is one of the highest in the world, at 11,715 ft (3571 m).
In the next video, I will conclude the Himalayan Adventure series, overflying Lhasa, and landing at Lhasa Gonggar airport.
