This game feels very promising. I really liked what you said about the sense of community in it, and I loved the mechanic of befriending animals rather than buying them. So yes, again you made me very interested and curious about a game, wish I could try them all! Great review!! Put in many hours on the steam deck version, and excited for the switch one. I would only disagree on the music not being memorable, but to each his own. It's the only cozy game i find myself humming tunes from, especially as a Hispanic, the vibes in the music are spot on. Cant wait to play on Switch.

Seems like Roots of Pacha took it's roots from Stardew hehe. (I spend 10 minutes thinking of a pun, m'kay. It's bad, but works!)
I am huge fan of farming/life sim games. This one looks promising!
Anyways guys, would love to see a video in which you make a top 10 of all Farming sims on Switch. Not just Stardew and the lot, but also the ones which came out this year. It's too much to keep taps on if you ask me.

I was so addicted to it in April / May! Loved it so much, but once I had seen it all, I was done with it. Unfortunately none of my games are much into farming sims. Must be amazing to play in MP.

There's no combat in the game. There are some puzzles in the caves, nothing to crazy tho.

I'm a little tired or straight-out farming sims (although it's refreshing to see a relative doesn't die in this one), and I'm not fond of pixel art these days... but this one has piqued my interest. Think it might go on the wishlist and wait for a sale.

Though in theory I like this genre I've really only ever played a bit of Stardew Valley. As long as the fishing isn't as fiddly as Stardew I'm pretty sold.

This looks promising, I like the idea that you can feel more like part of a community rather than a solo farmer getting NPC's numbers to go up. How fast does the day/night cycle run? I've found the clocks in some farming games are a little too fast to make for a relaxing experience.
Good question, there is an option to change your own games day length before you play so each in game day can be 15, 17.5 or, 20 minutes long depending on what you like. 🥰

Why is the multiplayer on switch not working at all?

The Last Faith or Astral Ascent were games that I assumed Mark would do reviews on but for whatever reason they didn't materialise.
Mark and Glen are obviously very busy guys and they do a herculean task of getting as many wonderful reviews out as they can out to us! This i cannot fault them for! ❤
What i can say however is that the Arkham games have a broader appeal than those indies and there's a higher likelihood that it may get a review! 👍
