Great memories from when I was 14 when I was in 7th Grade in 1991. 😊🥰😍🤩
This song was I believe the last extract from the album and for the single version (or 45 RPM), it was "remixed" for the occasion in a more "punchy" version, it is credited "Phase Mix" on the record.
I remember this beautiful clip which was broadcast on the M6 channel at the time or in the TOP 50 rankings on Canal +.
I think it is a continuation of that of "Pendant Que Les Champs Brûlent" given that it is the last extract from the album "Religion".
    The circle is complete.
There is also "Psychotrope (45 RPM version)" in this opus and "La Fin Des Etoiles" and "Un Million D'Années" for their fourth and last album "La Vérité" (1992).

I think an artist can and should express themself as they please as long as they dont hurt anybody mentally or physically. That song has a lot of 60's 70's ressemblance, so you may want to look back that era and understand it. Muriel was the lead singer and of that band. We met during a commercial's shot and she is very cool and smart. After her music's carreer she devoted her time as a stunt woman, yoga, fitness yep, a 180 in her life and was happy for her. Then she went into a new duo called DYNAMO. Why you guys are judging people? Who are you? Have you done half of what they did? Do you plan to do better?

Niagara was innovative and fun at first. Love Muriel, so beautiful and talented. Love their videos, so imaginative and avant-garde. Then unfortunately, they became a bit formulaic. By this album, they had run their course, I feel. They had really good years and I still love their tongue in cheek songs and off kilter humor.

Hi Dereck! Thanks for your react to Niagara. This song "La Vie Est Peut-Etre Belle" (Maybe Life Is Beautiful) was released in the spring of 1991 as the fourth and final single from their third album "Religion".
Unfortunately, it wasn't ranked in the TOP 50 despite the radio rotations and broadcasts of the music video on the music channels of the time, even MTV Europe, a channel which was the first to sponsor a French group such as Niagara , really liking their videos and not hesitating to share them.
The videoclip is directed by Daniel Chenevez (like all those since their beginning) in the east of the Paris region.
The river scene is inspired by the film "Le Temps Des Gitans" (The Time Of The Gypsies) by Emir Kusturica released in 1988.
The shots were worked on in post-production with inlays, with a baroque side, a mixture of high technology and natural elements such as water or fire.
Stages were installed in the water because of the depth, frog men were there constantly to monitor and ensure the safety of the singer and the extras.
The shots were taken using a camera installed on a boat to carry out the "traveling" and also crane movements which were difficult to synchronize during filming without counting on the cool temperature of the water for the extras despite the good weather.
Other Niagara hits: "Psychotrope" (1991) still in this album "Religion" in a new version for the single release, "La Fin Des Etoiles" (1992) and "Un Million D'Années" (1993) for the group's fourth and last album before their separation.
Thanks for your amazing job our Frenchie American mate.👍🇫🇷
