Great content 👍 I reckon this section of the market will be popular in East Anglia, we’ve got no hills but lots of pedalling and mellow trails, it would be cool to see a video putting a budget ebike like this against a more mainstream more expensive model, just to see what the performance gap is really like 😊

You rode the bike for 2 hours on what power assist? and how much battery was left? Would be a great help if you could have answered that
Would you consider a few upgrades, wider bars shorter stem maybe?
Definitely. I borrowed this bike so I didn’t make any changes to it, but wider bars would be my first upgrade.
I've had a few tries on higher end full sus e-bikes in the Forest of Dean and they are great! Finish the downhill trail and turn around and fly to the top again. I would be really tempted to get one for my Fiancé so we can go on bigger rides together. However, I would want a bike which is as reliable and capable as the hardtail I ride and the prices for those are eye watering for a tool used so little. I'm glad bikes like this are in the market, however, looking at the parts it is made from, I wouldn't want to rely on it out deep in the woods. This bike is not for me but if someone is looking for a way to get fit but also not be out of breath in 10 minutes... this could be a great solution! Have you seen the Bizango e-Bike? Another bike similar to this which is interesting.
Yeah that is a great summery 👍🏻. I agree, this is a brilliant entry to ebiking, but it is not built for technical downhill trails. Horses for courses.
I would be interested in knowing your opinion on the difference between this hub drive and a mid drive bike. I’m look at Emtb but don’t want to buy twice.
