And whenever we'll defeat Lil' Judd (because let's be honest, he's clearly evil. He wants to eat Judd, was on Team Chaos unlike Judd who was neutral, and was an ally to Grizz since he took over GrizzCo. after Grizz's defeat), GrizzCo. will probably close forever and start an era of peace between Inklings, Octolings and Salmonids.

What's crazy is that the professor actually did make two cryochambers, he just couldn't power his own. So I guess in this universe he did have enough power, and didn't put himself in the chamber.

Yeah I don't think it works personally. I don't believe this could happen because this doesn't fit the tone and structure of actual Splatoon stories.
I could imagine it being quite bizarre to see what is basically an intelligent, long extinct dinosaur walking among the other people.

I’m sure there’s some language books. There’s some signs and all that stuff in Alterna and in Salmonid levels. So it can’t be ALL gone. Definitely some inklings and Octolings studying human languages.

1. Humans decide to manipulate the atmosphere to lower the world temperature and invoke an ice age, in order to create more land.
2. Humans through genetic engineering need to change in order to survive in the new world. They adopt the Aquatic creatures genetics.
3. The human becomes a big idol due to their unique singing talent.

Find it funny that the Story goes from: A Human Discovering and freeing his Species, to a Dark War of Humans being Humans, to just Pikmin Origin [If we ignore Pikmin 4's Structures]
As a Pikmin Fan [Since the first 2 Games ababdfsfbafbs-] this was unexpected, but also kinda fitting lol.
Destruction is not humans being humans.
I've actually been writing a story with a similar concept. A human basically gets isekaied into the future when the events of Splatoon 1 takes place. He was turned into and inkling and it's up to him and his new allies to find the machine that changed his fate forever.
According to Gigguk that's a separate genre called Regression although I guess your fanfiction will be the *opposite* of Regression

@kokichiouma4785 It isn't available to read anywhere yet. I want at least an arc to be completed before I post any of the story. And I plan to have multiple arcs take place, so it will be something that takes a while since I'm relatively new to writing.

More tragic than mine.
The story is one rocket did find a new planet. It was just like Earth, but a 2/3s bigger. The humans dubbed this place "New Earth" And eventually, humanity became a multi planet colony 10,000 years later. Forming the Galactic Federation, and the events of Metroid happened. But with a twist. After Samus betrayed the GF in the events of Metroid Fusion, former GF soldiers whom left because of the Federation's crimes were inspired to create a new military to take out the Galactic Federation. If you are a Halo fan, that's right, in this universe, Samus is the one who inspired the creation of the UNSC. After a year of growing, the UNSC was ready, and waged war on the Galactic Federation. And after a few years, they won, the Galactic Federation was no more, and the UNSC took over. And their stories are basically the same as in the Halo series. Centuries have passed, the year is 2559 and 2 Spartans are sent back to Earth due to one reason, something Humanity missed when they evacuated. It turns out, there was a Halo Ring orbiting outside the solar system. And they were tasked to find an area on Old Earth to build a communication satellite so the base sent to research the ring will have instant communication with the UNSC. And after arriving, they find the Earth inhabited by the evolved Sea Life. After exchanging information with each other, the main government of humanity on New Earth, the UNI, agreed to let this new sea life to be the dominant species on Old Earth, and with help, the sea life agreed to be allies of the UNSC, and humanity.

I was thinking about how pikmin could relate to splatoon’s timeline (and stuff and also why pikmin are humanoid shaped to begin with) that’s pretty interesting.
With that said now I’m really mind blown how a flip phone found on pnf404 not only survived the extinction of humans and the extinction of the modern mollusk and the re-extinction of humans

Depends on what kind of human survives. If the human/humans were closer to Octolings, it wouldn't be long before they would cause trouble for the cephalopods of Earth.
If they were closer to Inklings, they would probably die or get along.
It would be funny if they became an idol and ran the news with shitty face paint and walking on their knees

It's an interesting viewpoint at best.
Listening to this, it makes me think to a Splatoon OC I made and kept thinking on how to make her work.
Her story is that this OC is a human scientist that was put into cryosleep alongside a team of other scientists she is a member of. Her cryopod opens in the time period of Splat 1, but she is the only one who wakes up. All the other scientists did not make it and have passed.
Despite all this, she is keeping positive, seeing that she can pass on her knowledge of the past. The only problem is a communication issue. I made an Inkling OC as well, who meets the human scientist and they help each other.
While the story this video story is so different from my version of a story, it makes me happy on the thoughts of what would happen if humans were to return to the earth in the Splatoon timeline. Thank you.

I just find the last war silly until at the end
Humans can't really die to ink unless they drown in it, but they might have produced gas masks. They also could have made quite a large amount of ballistic weapons for humans, and they might've made war vehicles, unfortunately though they might not have the technology to have respawns fro humans. When squakto warned sea life, they could make a counter to a lot of those, but my money would've been on humans.
But I might choose nuclear Armageddon for the ending as both sides unleash the nukes.

That ending caught me by surprise and was rather funny but as much as I like it, there’s a flaw to that theory: in the Pikmin games, some of the treasures are Nintendo products. That would imply that, in the Pikmin canon, all other Nintendo games are just that: games. That would include the Splatoon games. And even if there were Splatoon-based treasures, they would most likely also be Nintendo merch.
One silly idea i had a while ago with a human in splatoon was this.
Either a human was found in cryo-status like the good old cat jud. Or some random 3rd party manages to create a human in some way. Whatever way we have a human doesn’t matter now. We have a human. Thats the problem.
The main story involving it would involve different teams of people trying to get a hold of this human and get them to join them.
Inklings/agents would get the humans to join their society / let the human enjoy being free.
Octos would try to make them a power source or…something.
Salmons would….. I actually dont know. Vibe with him maybe? Eat him? Who knows.
And the 3rd party would want to study him.
But. How would this human look like in splatoon. It cant look realistic that wouldn’t fit the splatoon style. Well. What if we pick the funny option instead.

Yoooo this is a sick story... I love it so much.
pretty sure humans MIGHT be somewhere in Splatoon 2, while it wouldn't surprise me if they were extinct (because otherwise it'd mess the lore) in reality, it would be EXTREMELY hard to drive humans to extinction, we are the least endangered animal species on Earth, no matter wat pessimists say, there are 8.1 BILLION of us on Earth and we can adapt like crazy. Would be fun to see how humans would interact with Splatoon 2.
In my opinion, it would not go well for the cephalopods. Humans are by far the most warlike species in the splatoon universe, even when compared to the Salmonids, Octarians and Inklings. While you could argue that Octarians are more warlike than us, you have to consider the fact that, in the last 100 years, there has never been any major, massive Octarian reconquest of Inkling land, and all they've done is fuel a futile proxy-war between inklings and salmonids and steal energy which power completely obsolete war machines.
In the Splatoon world, if humans existed, patriotic fervor would quickly drive us into conquering and perhaps even completely obliterating any of the other intelligent species, we simply would not stand for any competition from any other species. This is not seen in the Splatoon universe, where the Octarians and Salmonids are usually staying off the radar and fail to adapt to any inkling tactics.
We would probably start with the Octarians, simply because they have the most potential but are still by far one of the weakest, we'd flood their domes, domes WE designed, slowly but deliberately destroying them until they capitulate, becoming our vassals. We use this to build up reserves, supply stations etc. But we would also indoctrinate them, indoctrinate them with the patriotic fervor they ACTUALLY need, and not some music crap, brainwashing them to be even more hostile to inklings, engineering their society to become fully dependent on us. We would parade through Octoling cities, showing off our military might.
Next up are salmonids, they have by far the most horrible technology, but are more populous, we would start by building up a sizeable fleet of submarines and mining the waters around any major Salmonid settlements, choking them of resources. This approach also gains us political favors, namely: cutting of power egg supply from the octarians thus increasing their dependence on us and masking this campaign as "helping" the inklings, thus lowering their suspicions towards us. Now, the Salmonids are starving. We siege them until they capitulate, but that's not all. We wipe out almost each and every one of them, only leaving a small settlement, we have no need for them, but the "moral" thing to do is to keep them somewhat alive.
With two opponents out of the way, we would turn to the Inklings.
By far the hardest opponent, they are populous and have good technology.
But they are lazy and individualistic. While salmonids were populous and almost hive-mind like, they lacked any proper tactics and self-preservation.
Octarians on the other hand, are almost mimics of us, militaristic, good cooperation between others but still a tinge of needed individualism and self-preservation. But their economy was in shambles.
We would begin with inserting us into their civilization while retaining our own, we would encourage foreign investment into Inkling nation, bringing us closer to them. Using our strategic positions in Octo canyon, Octo Valley and the sea, we would increase spionage with them. Human-based software on inkling devices would bring us more information. Using our newfound knowledge, we would sabotage their economy, making them more dependent on us by offering them advertisements for human-based consumer products, this also has the added benefit of increasing individualism and consumerism.
We would discreetly fund Octarian border-incursions and terrorist attacks in the Inkling nation. Mainly on their trade centers and infrastructure. We would bribe their politicians to divide their society even more, creating unrest, we would further bribe politicians into implementing bad laws which would anger different sides of the inkling political spectrum. Slowly but surely, riots would start in the city, civil unrest increases, we would fund terrorist and separatist groups. Which divide the military even more.
After a while, we stage an inkling attack on us, either by infiltration, bribery or trickery. This would give use the political high-ground, inklings would see this as an attack that was uncalled for, generating even more unrest and dissent in the government. We would sanction them HARD, virtually stopping all trade with them. Bringing their economy to a standstill. We would stage a destructive war between the octarians and inklings, using our economy and technology to fuel the Octarian war machine. If the Inklings haven't capitulated, we invade, the combined might of two world superpowers would crush the inklings. We would encounter less resistance, because inklings are sleeping through battles and are not giving a donkey's bum about the war. Even the little inkling avenger group would be on their knees as we threaten to flood the entirety of inkopolis.
After much destruction and death, we would win. Surely but slowly, the indomitable human spirit cannot be stopped, the human war machine cannot be stopped, all they can do is beg and cry for our forgiveness, as seas worth of water are flooding the octarian domes, as walls of mines surround the salmonid settlements, as bombers and terrorists slowly dismantle the inkling empire. All they can do is beg.
Glory to the human race.

But also I felt like the war in the story could've a little more realistic, like I dunno maybe.... Mankind makes bullet weapons again, as well as war vehicles, masks to resist ink, better strategies, and a little bit of bombing cities.
Also one nuke destroying everything is a little much, especially for one that's probably a random one.

Yeah no I'm not a fan of the way you handled this story.
Squacto is a bit too much of a Mary Sue, with how he's responsible for bringing peace between all the Splatoon species on his own and being looked up as a leader, and also how he single-handedly brought the human species back from extinction.
I also don't like how there are other humans. This seems conflicting with the Splatoon canon. One human is possible, but bringing back the humans from extinction isn't. I mean yes this is a different canon, a "What if ?".
But this other universe still has mostly the same events as the original. This is is still supposed to be a Splatoon story, yet this wouldn't work at all as a Splatoon story. The tone and structure are nothing like what we've seen in an actual Splatoon story before. This doesn't work.
Having everyone die, characters using actual guns and people actually dying on screen... Those aren't things that a Splatoon story would do. You might have a flawed understanding of what Splatoon is about.
The human species will never come back in Splatoon. And if a member of humanity is still alive and is a protagonist, he would most likely be in a similar role to Agent 3, 4, 8 and Neo 3, fighting against a single big bad with an army like Octavio, Tartar or Mr. Grizz.
And that enemy could use water, making this human the only one who can stop him in the final battle. Maybe it could be a salmonid, or Lil' Judd since he's clearly evil, doesn't explode when in contact with water, and was an ally of Mr. Grizz.
And since Lil' Judd is at the head of GrizzCo., maybe his army could be the salmonids somehow. Also even if he uses water, Lil' Judd is a cat and most likely hates water, so this human could use water as well and turn Lil' Judd's weapon against him.
And also I'm not a fan of the use of AI images either.
The human species coming back is an exciting idea. This just isn’t the best story. I hope someone comes around and writes a better one

Yeah I agree although I feel that squacto feeling like a mary sue is mostly because he has very little characterisation other than "feeling out of place" so when all of the big events and responsibilities revolve around him it just isn't that interesting to follow. Although I personally don't like stories of humans surviving into the modern era of splatoon I think this one could be way more interesting if squacto was handled better and if the other characters had more importance to the plot.
I also feel like the timeline of events revolve around squacto too much as well. The fact that the rest of the humans came to the surface, integrated into inkling/octoling culture and started an uprising against them all within squacto's lifetime is just a bit unrealistic
I mean, it's not wrong that some humans would be greedy for more land but there would also be humans that would side with the inklings and Octo's and fight against the greedy ones

The twist at the end was so awesome paired with the music I mean it kind of makes sense only the pikmink can survive even though they're dumb and they die half the time wait does this mean olimar was real in this universe crazy

20:57 Wait, so, humans have been among inklings long enough for them to realize that traditional ink weapons don't work on them, and Neo 3 presumably still has Little Buddy, but instead they decided to use a splat bomb? Why? This whole thing could have been avoided if they just threw their smallfry at the general. The general would have dropped the pistol and be distracted more than long enough for Squacto to get his hands on the gun.
Furthermore, Squacto was already rushing the general when Neo 3 threw the bomb, so how were neither of them close enough to the general to prevent him from regaining his pistol.
Come to think of it, this whole war was because humanity wanted the sea creatures to return to the ocean. Inklings and Octolings can't do this sure, but there is a bunch of other sapient sea life who don't possess this weakness. Since Squacto already made peace with the Salmonids, there would be nothing preventing these creatures from returning to the sea.
From Inklings to...Pikmin? Well, at least Olimar will be able to discover the remains of the Turf Wars afterwards...

This is a really fascinating theory/adaptation!🤩
I’m imagining some team of inklings that has a human on it, and they keep on winning every match they play because nobody can figure out why the human isn’t able to be splatted.
So Squacto learned about almost all of human history and how we have been fighting for land and random stuff the entirety of humanity and didn't expect a giant group of humans to start a war like the Humans started this war within like 2 weeks of getting out like that's sad.
If Nintendo decides to ever continue the story of Splatoon, this would be a great candidate and could really show propagate some serious topics within the world of Splatoon.
If this story ever comes to fruition, I think it will be something like Tarzan or Avatar.
