He is right about everything except the interpretation of remembering
To remember is to remember literally
You sit in meditation and remember walking to the shops, you remember going to work
But you must sit in the memory and watch it like a movie,
not a flash of remembrance, But a wallow in the memory for as long as possible
    Then you practice practice practice
Enjoy yourself, remember who you are and who we all are

The breathing technique is used by the navy seals ..which is called the box breathing.
    4 secs inhale
    4 secs hold breath
    4 secs exhale
    4 secs hold breath
    And repeat cycle.
    That's called box breathing.
Alhamdulillah. I use this to calm myself in an given situation.
    Jazakumullahu khairan.
(**However, some of the breathing techniques comes from the Indian subcontinent ).

“La ilaha illallah” means “there's no God but God”. The world Allah derives from “Al-Ilah” which literally means “The God”. The meaning of this is NOT that only the God of Muslims is God. It merely means that other than God, let no other thing be worshipped as God.

This is mysticism. Theres no dogma in mysticism . All prophet of Islam discovered Allah threw an initiatic journey. Imagine the prophet saws meditating alone in the cave of Hira and suddenly the angel Gabriel appears to him in human form. There's no dogma here this is just pure mystic moment.

No. It is just that the energetic body, energy and lifeforce are universal. Many traditions explain the same thing in different terms. Zikr with all that knowledge then acknowledges “there is no God but God” which separates it from pantheism (many gods).

If you are ignorant on a subject it doesn’t mean it is Shirk, you just don’t know enough about it
Do a research on Islamic Philosophy with authors like :
      Ibn arabi
      Ibn sina
      Al ghazali
