This is the OST to Mike Tyson's Punch Out for the NES! But in my own form of Stereo! Which spreads the sound channels and adds a bit of echo/reverb. These mixes also do not represent true, original, or actual stereo that the NES has, this is just to make the music sound more clear and crisp, and is another way of listening to the greatness of 8Bit music. So enjoy this soundtrack in what I like to call, WiiGuy's 8Bit Stereo!! :D

The awesome Punch Out!! soundtrack has been improved and updated with better quality, text, tracklist and visual background, check it out: czcams.com/video/Hc6_2das5dA/video.html
It's amazing how 5 minutes of music made such an impact.
2:41 perfectly captures the desperation of knowing you're losing but desperately hoping against hope you can still win
Word.
My personal favorite NES title, hands down.
it deserves its place in history.
wish i could find sheet music for it
In the neighborhood I grew up in my big bro was the only guy who could beat Mike. He would get invited over to peoples houses, just so they could see if it was possible. You know Its funny though because he really wasn't in to video games.
He made pretty decent money back then..........MAN!! the nostalgia.
+Rhuarc My best friend, one of his older brothers were the same way. Not really into video games but when they played they were masters, especially sports games like Punch Out, Super Tecmo Bowl, Bases Loaded. His brother would smoke everyone. Now that I think of it, his brother Josh was better than pretty much everyone at everything lol.
You had to go on and name Tecmo Bowl and Bases Loaded LOL!! More memories flooding in.He would dominate in other sports games like Double Dribble and Blades of Steel.
Josh sounds like my bro. Kindred spirits perhaps.
Haha double dribble!! Yeah man Josh is great and I bet he hasnt played a video game in 20 years and could still beat ass on any system any game
God, what a game. Punch Out was so ahead of it’s time in terms of gameplay, characterization and just overall fun.
Punch out is my all time favorite nes game. I remember introducing this game to all of my friends in high school. We still play the game together to this day 😁
4:09 will always be EPIC!
I totally agree with you about i don't believe this is original 🤷🏽♂️
4:09 NIGGA STOLE MY BIKE!!!
5:20
Best game over theme ever! I love the ending of it!
I remembered the first time I beat the game, by decision may I add, no TKO or KO, no no no.... I had memorized every single punch timing of the first round!!! I had every second timed, of course I now remember the first one only.... the 006 seconds one!!! the first killer punch!!! This game truly brings some of the best memories of my childhood, a definite NES classic
We all know who stole the bike.
OMG YES
I was just thinking of that lol
🚴♀️🏃♂️
Doc Louis didn't steal the bike; it belongs to him. He's riding a bicycle because he's training Mac as he runs to make him stronger.
@@dmcmusiclover2995 I'm not sure if you are new here or trying to be funny. Either way, I literally lol'd! Your mission accomplished?
What were they thinking with King Hippo's theme, the mouth-sound blocked most of it so that it NEVER could be heard.. Until now!!!!!!!! =)
I love Piston Honda and Von Kaiser theme it's world class music in 8 bit
I'm stuck on Soda Popinski and can't beat him, but hearing his theme feels great...
I doubt anyone will admit it, but 4:09 is what everyone is looking forward to, despite how wrong that meme is. lol
0:56 is my favorite part, but you knew that
Nope. Memes suck.
4:09 NIGGA STOLE MY BIKE theme
i don't know how you do this man but this is the coolest thing I've seen/heard in a long time. It's sweet being able to experience these classics in stereo sound. keep em comin'!!
Losing to Glass Joe, just so I can hear that awesome lose & game over tune.
Sold my NES over 30 years ago but for some reason I hung on to this cartridge. Fun fact, my Dad used to race homing pigeons which was one of Tyson's hobbies.
King Hippo's theme makes me laugh ever time
The memories from when I first played this in the late 80s are so intense! I get goosbumps every time I here the soundtrack.
Same here man
Ooh, that belt looks GOOD on you, son!
I remember myself playing Warming up with Doc in my head when I answered the tests at school. It was like a "Don't give up, don't give up" theme for me.
I beated Tyson about two times when I was younger, but now I lose my skills and only can reach the major circuit.
This is awesome! Thank you SO MUCH for this upload! :)
Thank you for this! I can't wait to use these in my videos. So much nostalgia :)
I actually like the unique take on the genre. It's true that boxing in real life has elements of looking for tells and predicting the opponent's next moves, but Punch-Out really expands upon that to the point where you have to be deliberate in your actions. You can't just keep throwing punches all the time because you'll just tire yourself out, and button mashing is no longer a viable technique. Compare that to today's fighting games.
Good post

0:56,

THANK YOU.
1:24 Bald Bull approaching
4:09 You all know the lyrics!
The most epic game over theme in video game history.
It's not a theme of defeat. It's telling you "You may have lost this time, but start training! You'll be back!"
"Listen son, I'm proud of you. You had a great career. You're still the champion in my book."
3:11 was also heard in the NES version of Defender II, whenever you CLEARED a stage.
I really wish the game over theme was longer
I'm so happy that I was able to beat this game a handful of times, it was hard once you got to Mike.
Hearing 3:17 when I knocked Mike to the canvas gave me motivation, like I was in a Rocky movie lol
The game became hard when you got to Macho it became impossible when you got to Mike but I did end up beating him which definitely didn't take everything to beat him
It was a boxing game, but it played more like a puzzle game involving identifying tells and executing counters. It wasn't just who could beat who up better than the other, and mashing buttons never worked like it sometimes does in other fighting games. On top of that, there were the over-the-top stereotype personalities you fought. Definitely a well-made game and a very different take on boxing and fighting games than the other offerings available even today.
3:11 That theme used to creep me out when I was a kid.
The Look Sharp March song for gillette blue blades
0:56 beer song, feat. Linkara
only you, lol
I COULD GIVE SEVERAL HOURS OF MY DAY , HERE..
For me, best game and soundtrack ever
Nostialgia Overload
i feel transported to 1986 and playing this game at the local mall while my mum is impatiently waiting for me to k.o. iron mike.

There is not many games ive never beat but tyson kicks my ass everytime im 24 know and still have a nes with this game and my passkey wrote on the back because everyone knows there was no Internet in the early 90s lol

4:09 NEGGA STUL MAH BIKE
3:42 Little Mac Victory Themes
"This is a story of true victory"
PUNCH OUT IS GREAT 🎵 ( NES )
This has to be the best Game Over music ever aside from maybe CRITICAL MISSION FAILURE from Mass Effect 1.
Warming up with Doc - sorry but it will be "Nigga stole my bike" for me forever ;]
-The king of tempo!!!
Actually, I guess Super Smash Bros. does manage to make button mashing harder to successfully pull off, but that's because button mashing makes you prone to throwing yourself off the edge of the screen in a hilarious and embarrassing manner.
Mike tyson cant actually beat glass joe in his own classic game when he finally played recently.
3:48
*flashing letters*
TITLE BOUT
HE LIKES IT! HEY MIKEY!
Now contesting the retiring glass joe, little mac
Mike is waiting for you!
The first song reminds me of the AVGN
with alot of practice and swift reflex's its very possible to beat tyson.
5:20
GIVE UP? RETIRE? GAME OVER. START TRAINING, MAKE A COMEBACK!
This echo sound is killing me, but is also very good, and what about the opponent knockdown?
For some reason I think in the timestamps it's titled "You win!" I don't know why though
didn't koji kondo composer music for this game also
Used the Mike Tyson box-art since more people remember and prefer that one?
LOL I REMEMBER THIS GAME
That knock down music
4:09 so good all i can say, CHECK IT OUT M9

My Next cover
Can I have a download link please?
Are you ripping the SPCs from the ROM itself or are you disabling channels within an emulator/console? If it's through emulation please tell me the emulator as I want to get certain channels.
JCentavo I think you mean NSF's (SPCs are for Super Nintendo), and I do not use an emulator nor disable channels.
0:59 I AM A MAN *PUNCH*
Why does this sound do much different?
Great music, but I never understood why it was so solemn for an otherwise lighthearted game.
It just sounds very clear and unlike the original. Is it a different version or something?
0:40 french hymn
hon hon baguette
I wonder if that was anybody's social security #.
Glass Joe and King hippo dislike this.
XD
1:24 I know this song was used in another NES game, but i can't remember what game
64natan Tetris
64natan sorry, that was earlier

It's Defender 2 on the NES
