It's said that Walter Sickert often told the tale of a guest house he'd stayed in where the landlord claimed that he'd suspected the previous occupant of Sickert's room to have been Jack the Ripper. Marie Belloc Lowndes used this as the basis of her own dark story of sinister nocturnal to-ings and fro-ings, filmed several times... Here, the ever-dependable Stephen Sheridan gives us a radio adaptation.
