  • The DECKED CargoGlide truck bed sliding tray is a sliding tool box that makes loading, unloading and accessing your tools and gear easy, safe and fast. Never climb into the bed of your truck to retrieve your gear ever again.
    The tray rolls on heavy-duty bearings actuated by a single-handed latch which allows you to smoothly slide out and retrieve your tools and materials.

    Just want the manufacturer to know, your draw system was crucial in an accident I was involved in.
    I bought a 2022 Jeep Gladiator Mojave edition that had your two draw system in the back.
    I used this everyday for work. It was absolutely fantastic.
    Then on Christmas Eve 2023 I was involved with a rear end collision.
    The vehicle that hit me was so badly damaged that the jaws of life were needed to extract the driver.
    My vehicle, although totaled was completely intact thanks to the toolbox system.
    Instead of crumpling the bed of the vehicle, the toolbox took the complete impact and saved me from being trapped inside the vehicle.
    My plan is to add both the tool box and slide into my new vehicle asap.
    Although I was hurt in the accident, every first responder commented on the fact the tool box saved me in this particular incident.

    This legit is the best idea ever, I was just imagining this and telling my wife. Basically a sliding drawer just like the ones we put our clothes in in our house and in the kitchen putting all our spoons forks etc. put this same idea in a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Drill whatever you have to drill do any modifications that you gotta do to make it work but this can be done to any vehicle. Even if it’s on springs and it goes in a car trunk. Like the drawers inside the top of tool boxes, two go in the top and they both jump out basically the right side goes up and out and the left side goes up and to the left.

    I think adding an inch or two to the width would be a great improvement, so a sheet of plywood will fit without binding to the sides. Other than that, looks like a great product.

    This is a beautiful design, my only concern is the total bed volume loss because of how much space this takes up. A lower profile would mean more cargo space. This would work extremely well if you’re an owner with a topper/shell that way you get more space up ⬆️. I still like this a lot though. Especially for being able to load a bunch of firewood on it.

    • @Decked
      @Decked  Před rokem +1

      What you lose in bed depth, you gain in organized storage under the deck. You can haul just about anything you used to with the ability to ratchet strap items down on top of the Deck. Which has a 2,000 lb payload!

      @@Decked I think he means just on the glide install. Seeing how high it sits. Though maybe a person could buy the 1000lbs/70% version then they would get the lower profile and lose a lot less height in the bed.

    I used to weld the frames for these before they got bought out by Decked.
    Here's the problem: My 2003 Chev 1500HD is rated at 2280lb. I think they said the 2000XL unit weighs like 500lb so, it would reduce cargo capacity significantly.
    Also, for comparison, a 2023 Chev 3500 RWD single cab short bed gas engine dually is rated for something like 7500lb. Again, the 2000XL unit is rated to carry 2000lb. So, if you figure the unit weighs 500lb, you're still giving up 5,000lb of potential payload capacity.
    I love the idea but it's for yuppies who don't really haul very much anyways

    If you can make a cargo glide with a 100% extension… Then why can’t you make your two drawer Decked system with 100% extension…
    The most aggravating part about having the Decked drawer system on my F150 is that the drawers do not pull all the way out!!! It sucks.
    I love the system except I can’t get to everything because the drawers do not pull all the way out…
    Even one of your commercials says that you can’t make a drawer that offers 100% extension but now you have a product that shows you have a cargo glide with 100% extension!!! 😂😂😂

    • @Decked
      @Decked  Před rokem

      Hey Juston. We try to make it clear on our website that the Drawers do not pull out all the way. Each drawer can hold up to 200 lbs and full extension would place too much pressure on the top of the deck. We chose a compromise that limits the extension but still minimized the height of the Drawer System itself. This also allowed for a taller drawer. The 100% extension CargoGlide drills into the bed of your truck so it has a must sturdier base and allows for full extension.
