I personally like the idea of negatives getting multiplied (just adds a bit more spice ya know), but I think that it would be a more appropriate to have it as a floor modifier for floors 5+ or 10+ instead of it being a base mechanic (and I know Tyler didn't specify on its implication, I'm just running with the idea). I think it would add more of a "the game gets harder as I get better" feel to it.
It would also be fun to try to get the highest negative value on a single roll

That would also help explain why it wasn’t in the game from the start. Now we just need them to add it so Tyler can have a Midis bomb+golden arrow trigger on a negative symbol

@@bananaeclipse3324 I don't really think there are enough negative cards, or at least any with a high enough value that it would matter. Like before you know what you're doing about the worst that'll happen is a magpie with a golden arrow.

@@mcpgamerprono he is correct with 1/6, you have a 5% for normal egg and 1% for golden so 1 gold for every 5 normal on average. Odds of getting first 2 gold is 1/6 * 1/6 so only 1/36. Lucky but not crazy

Aren't the odds of getting two golden eggs as the first two eggs a chicken lays only 1/36? Assuming independant probabilities, 1/100 + 5/100 = a 6/100 chance of an egg being layed per spin. When one is layed, (1/100)/(6/100) = 1/6 times, it will be golden. 1/6^2 = 1/36.

What you've caculated is that chance that, after the first spin after the spin where the chicken lays an egg, it will have layed two golden eggs (I cannot find a non-convoluted way to phrase this question).

No, it was eggs. The "cannot be destroyed or removed" text cannot appear for pearls.
So, funny thing about the statistics, at least how I'm understanding the problem: while the odds of getting two golden eggs in a row are 1 in 10,000 like you said, the odds of the first two eggs laid being golden are actually only 1 in 36. The question already assumes at least two egg laying events will happen, so we only need the odds of each egg type relative to each other. Regular eggs are five times as likely as golden eggs, so that becomes 5/6 eggs laid. Then it's just a matter of multiplying the golden egg chance by itself, giving us 1/36.

2:45 - yeah you just hit 1/10,000 ... but then no, there's 1% of a golden and a 5% of a normal so it's a 1/6 for it to be golden if you get an egg; so just 1/36 to get 2 in a row when you get them.
Just to be clear for others, 1/10000 is the chance of getting 2 golden eggs in 2 machine spins as he did.

My reasoning:
The chanches of the first two rolls resulting in two golden eggs is (1/100)^2
The chances os there being n rolls that result in nothing and then two rolls that result in the golden eggs is
(1/100)^2*(1-0.05-0.01)^n
So the chance of there being any number of rolls that result in nothing and then two consecutive golden eggs is (by the infinite sum of a geometric series): (1/100)^2 * 1/(1-0.94) = 0.001666…
Which is about 1.66%
i feel like the landlord battle on later floors or future floors should have a money to damage penalty; like imagine how much more scary the landlord could be if the damage you dealt was .75x or .5x
