The potato pealer, that has the corner cutter.. that is typically for gouging out any buds or sprouts. Yes, it can be used to make large long cuts for a fun way to make fried wedges, but mainly is for ease of sprout bud removal...

My brother loves cooking but has difficulty holding and using things like knifes and spoons. These videos are really helpful to see what we can get for him so he can keep cooking.
I know this video is a bit old, but the first gadget isn’t for raw eggs! It’s actually used to cut the top of an egg after you boil it. This helps a lot when making “egg and soldiers”

Agreed. They're novelty gadgets, that sell really well with the unskillful and lazy. A knife is all you need to perform ever last one of these tasks.
But even with that in mind, they're still cool gadgets nonetheless.
dude literally everything in this video is replaceable by a knife(and sometimes a spoon) and 3 more seconds of your time, 100% not worth the extra space to store a tool made specifically for avocados when you can, cut it in half, with a knife, remove the stone, with a knife, cut it in slices inside the skin, with a knife and remove the slices with a spoon
Guys, knives and spoons are gonna be slower than these, expect the Avacado one

The first tool is an egg topper. When you make soft boiled eggs you remove the tops so you can eat the egg while still in the shell

The only issue I have with the strawberry gadget (and I’ve used one, my auntie frequently has me de-stem strawberries and stuff when I visit) is that it often takes too much of the strawberry away, I’d rather just twist the leaves off and chew through a small bit of stem than have no stem but a hollow strawberry. It’d be perfect for stuffed strawberries though

The egg cracker is actually for making soft boiled eggs. Boil an egg for a few minutes then use the egg cracker to open the egg and dunk your toast in.

The egg spilled out because you opened it at the wrong end, you need to crack the end with the air bubble in it.
Also, that looks like it would be better used to crack open a boiled egg to dip soldiers in.
Beat me to it. Also an alternative use I have seen is laying an egg on its side, being very light with the crack on the side it makes 2 round holes that you can drain the white out, then turn the holes facing up and break the hole open to get a yolk. Sounds like more work but is done to keep shell out of the white of the egg and when you practice it is really fast. I saw a guy in collage do a little over a dozen eggs in two minutes while individually separating each yolk into a separate container.
Also the ring was originally for grapefruit to keep from getting squired in the eye when peeling it. At least that was what the packaging on one my grandmother bought in about 1975.
