Such a lot of love towards a player who got stick so much last season (not by me I must add). It just seems that people treated him harshly for what was arguably one of our stronger attacking players (especially when compared to Waghorn, Gayle or Washington)
Agreed. Always gave 100%. Better than many we have had over the last 25 years who come simply for the cash. Steve Howard was possibly the last one up front I can think of other than Chris Martin of course. Good luck to him.

Agree to a certain extent, only snag is if that guy gets injured or suspended you're basically screwed. Cannot doubt his commitment and happier tbh he has signed for another year than if Sibs had stayed. Very few other options about we can afford at present even if he is not likely to be a starter?

I’m not mad at the signing but I’d rather have 1 great striker who can get 20 goals. Now we’ve got 4 ok strikers who will get 5 each
Although 4 times 5 is 20 so idk what I’m on about
I'd prefer to have 4 rotational strikers that will all hit 7+ than 1 single striker that will get 25+ its going to be a long season.
If that one striker gets injured then that can derail your season. If our 3-4 strikers can be rotated and get some goals then that is more reliable
@@Gollumfili yeah I know it’s probably not that logical but most teams that I’ve seen do really well in the championship recently have a Mitrović, Pukki, Toney, Bamford, etc.
Coming up to 34, only scored 3 in 26 games for Cardiff a few seasons back. I don’t think he’s up to it at Championship level…
