Education system needs improvement with clear rules and regulations.
UGC AND NCTE NEVER CONFIRM ABOUT HIS REGULATION AND LAWS IN ANY MATTER IN COURT
Rules and regulations of UGC and IGNOU are clear, recruitment board lawyer is misleading the court by providing partial information and creating unnecessary confusion.
Judge has already made it clear until 2017 things were fine, after 2017 regulations have changed

Ab suno is case me case karne wale ne direct graduation bina 10th pass kiye kar liya hai(BPP COURSE) KAR KE.....AUR WO NORMAL GRADUATION WALA MANYATA MANG RAHA HAI....JO UGC NHI DE RAHA HAI JO KI THIK BAAT BHI HAI....SAMJHE

After 10 +2 opt for 3 year diploma and then directly take admission to lateral entry of graduation (majorly for B.Tech students) in that way anyone can have a graduation degree with 10+2

The whole concept of degrees as a requirement for a job is outdated. Job entrance exams and experience based certifications (for medicine, law etc) are enough. Most degrees are worthless or fradulent and discriminative against the poor.
I have so much of personal experience regarding this matter but commenting here is not possible and useless.
But, I can like on your comment as a vote.
Degrees should always be mandatory like now! They help to filter the talent better and help reduce the competition! People like us love them!
Degrees Help filter better candidates and a person with a degree have core knowledge which means he can learn faster than an experienced person and prove to be more efficient. For example there's your local electrician and an experienced electrician and a graduate in B tech from electronics and mechanical. The vraduate can learn faster to do the things those experienced people have learned in years because he has the basic core knowledge of every step of the process. And he can use his knowledge to do his work efficiently. Whereas it's hard to teach a person something new if he doesn't have the core concept of the process. Just like people who couldn't switch from tally to Excel and excel to IP, their value as an employee is reduced due to lack of efficiency. Similarly in Mechanical engineering, a graduate after training can identify a fault in a machine faster compared to another person who's just gone through the training but doesn't have core knowledge of the working of the machine.

You still have to study online, pass exams and get experience based certifications. e.g. like Chartered Accountants etc. I would definitely not get surgery done from a fresh "degree" holder from a donation seat from a pvt. college run by a politician. So most degrees don't prove much and certainly less than standardized exams and structured experience.
Degree based education in many cases is the biggest loot in modern India where poor people have sold their homes and savings to pay coaching classes and politician owned colleges for the dream of their child becoming a degree holders. But you can see many of them don't get even a driver's salary with their degrees.

actually some candidates have been selected for group 2 posts but now the recruiters are saying they don't have a proper degree.But acc to ugc rules they r at no fault.Ugc & recruiting agencies are relaxing peacefully & the candidates who worked on their ass off even after cracking the exam are facing rejection. @akshay Kumar
