Looking at the videos yes they do much like perfect fit Blinds
Exactly that Terry, they install just like the traditional Perfect Fit blinds.
1. My gaskets appear to be thin, recessed, maybe more felt material than rubber. How thick is the metal of the brackets? Is a credit card a good test for seeing if it will accept a bracket?
2. If I'm unsure if I have 20mm or 22mm, should I go 22mm ?
3. When shut, are these blackout, or will there be light leakage between the slats?
Hi @timit304 - a credit card is much thicker than the brackets, a kitchen knife might be a better indication, you can request for test brackets if you contact us via email and supply us with an address.
If you're unsure and it's not quite 22mm, then go for the 20mm brackets instead. And the shutters are not a blockout product, so a bit of like does get through the louvres.
Hi, Like the look of these, but how do you clean the glass once installed?
Hello Tim - the shutters remove just as quick and easy as they install. By applying pressure to the top rail, the shutter will pop out of the brackets and you can lift the shutter away from the window to do your cleaning!

I would imagine you would have to fit a conventional Shutter frame because of the angle of the bay window

Do the clips fit against the glass ie between the gasket shield and the glass? Difficult to see in the video.
Hello Chris - yes, that's exactly right! It's the same install as your traditional Perfect Fit blinds.
What about the air vents at the top of the window can you still fit the brackets with that there?
Hello @terrycallow2979 - the framework needs a minimum of 23mm from the edge of the glass and any obstructions so, measure from the glass to the vent to see if it is under or over!
It says that you slot the bracket in to the gasket seal but are you saying that you need to break the seal? My UVPC windows have sealing on them and there is no gap there. Does that mean that it won't work and if so are there any other options other than fitting proper shutters?
Hello @c0mbat15 - although the brackets slot behind the gasket, the brackets don't actually damage the seal and they just sit behind it. Feel free to send an image of your window and gasket to tech.support@louvolite.com and we can get back to you!

What about the patio door handles ? do we need to cater for this or will the blind fit snug and touch the handles of the patio door?

@@drtomoyah8805 Sorry yes, it's the same process for both door and window - assuming they're not sliding doors. Again, there's options for a handle rebate on patio doors, so it's perfect for conservatories etc. Hope this helps!
