    In this video I present the summary of most common student jobs in Finland. We often refer to them as odd jobs. What options international students have when it comes to jobs in Finland. Now students need to pay the fees and it is necessary for them to have some sort of student jobs, delivery jobs such Foodora or Wolt to support their studies. They can also opt for cleaning jobs in Finland. However, one is comfortable working in nights then newspaper delivery or Posti can be a good part time job.     Meanwhile,
    1. As a construction Engineering masters student with 7 years experience in Africa, can i get part time construction related jobs?
    2. Do Finland operate the principle of blocked account like in Germany?
    Note. My masters is in conjunction with HTW Berlin and its tuition free but Germany needs €10,000 blocked account before visa approval.

      2. You do not need to block the amount in Finland

      Well, you can get the job and open bank account in the process. It take around 2 to 3 weeks for bank account opening.

      It is a small township / village. Number of jobs will be smaller. To get more or regular work you need to visit nearby major town or city.

      Welcome Sagar. You can simply apply on website for wolt, foodora and cleaning companies websites. The quick option is find someone who is already working there and get a referral.

    I am an artist and i moslty do commission work online. Will I be allowed to work online in finland along side my artist work? Or do i need permission from government to open a bank account and do online business?

      please apply on some cleaning companies websites or find a friend who is already working there. If you are student, you can get these odd jobs. Now a daysl wolt and foodora offer good options for students to earn money.

      Depending on your area type of job you do. There are posti workers who work in morning like regular post deliveries. I have no clear idea about their pay. Generally, It goes with area, larger the area, bigger the money and vice versa. For instance 1400 - 2000 a month

      If you are talking about after taxes, than yes, it would be sufficient but survival only. No savings.

      Not at all. you just deliver food. That is why mostly internationals are in this field. You will rarely find some Finnish person doing food delivery.
