Moomoo just launched in Malaysia after getting approval by Securities Commission Malaysia to operate here, being one of the first foreign brokers to do so.
Their introduction to our market wasn't a disappointment bcs in my opinion, they now have one of the best offerings out there in terms of fees and functionalities.

I”ve created the account and accumulated the 8k in my account but there’s no indication for the apple stock in my notification/rewards. Can I check if there will be a notification in my profile that indicates the apple stock info?
Go to me > promotions > one app to trade > scroll down and claim Apple share. Make sure to do it quick!
Looks like rakuten is still the cheapest for smaller amount but moomoo is quite cheap for larger amount 🤔. Wow it has more info 👍
Yep smaller amount Rakuten is cheaper bcs of low min fee, but I think any reasonable size (>RM800) moomoo gets cheaper already
Moomoo is cheaper only USD0.99 platform + 0.03% trading value vs. Rakuten minimum USD1.88

Which is better to invest in moomoo for mid term (like 2 to 3 years) S&P 500 or Maybank with stable dividend.
Personal preference, hard to say 😅 Maybank is lower volatility so it might be the safer option for that timeframe
very stupid question - the rate shown for each stock is in its local currency? Eg. Apple stock is in US Dollars, Maybank is in MYR, and so on? How about the currency for Gold?

Nope. Very limited stocks can be shorted anyway

Not at the moment unfortunately with moomoo MY
As of now only available for Malaysian and US stocks. They don't have Singapore shares available yet. But who knows, they might add more options later on.

Moomoo is pretty upfront about their fees. They've got a straightforward fee structure with competitive rates for trading stocks and ETFs. Plus, newbies usually get sweet deals like zero commission trading for a while.
