Moomoo is an online stock trading platform founded in 2018 that allows you to invest & trade US, Singapore, Hong Kong and China stocks, ETFs, options, futures, unit trusts, money market fund, bond funds, and many more.
It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Futu Holdings Ltd, which is a financial institution listed on the US Nasdaq stock exchange with a market cap of more than 6 billion USD as of the recording of this video. I remember in a previous video comparing Interactive Broker and Moomoo, you mentione Moomoo imposes high fees on US stocks (compared to IB) and competitive fees on MY stocks, so how come you are trading US stocks on Moomoo and nor IB? Thanks.

Ah! Unfortunately i don't think you are able to add index into the trading view comparison chart (as far as i know) - but feel free to check with iBKR live chat, perhaps they would know better than me on this

It means that you don’t have enough cash to buy stocks but the system will use a margin (loan) to buy which means you have to pay interest per year 😊

Hi, i believe yes moomoo allows allow scalping & day trading, but if you're day trading on Moomoo, you have to be aware of the Pattern Day Trader (PDT) rules set by US FINRA - maintain a minimum equity of ~USD 25k in your account. Personally not a day trader so i cant offer you much on that, but feel free to double check with their customer support ya

I’ve purchased 24 NVIDIA this June 4th at $1,156 , planning to get another 12 tomorrow morning. Now , that will be 360 stocks after split. Wonder ,if price is at $2,000 so that’s $200 per stock after splitting. So I wonder if that will be $200 x 360 , which will be $72,000. Am I correct? TKS.
Hello! I’m glad you are getting great results with your investments!
That is correct, your total value shouldn’t change, so if you owned say 36 shares at 1200 usd,
After split, it will be 360 shares at 120 usd each=43200
If at 200 usd then 360 shares multiplied = 72000 usd

Hi, unfortunately they only support Hong Kong SAR, Macao SAR, Malaysia, Taiwan, Japan, Singapore and Australia as far as I know. You can give it a shot and see if it goes through tho :x

It says currently unable to open accounts for Malaysia citizens.
Hi Tang Tang, currently Malaysians cannot open an account because they temporarily pause new account opening for Malaysia as they are in progress to obtain the full Malaysian license - will be done in few months from now!

thanks man , the best thing for moomoo is information but the bad thing is paper trading is shiiit its not real how can you set virtual trading with 1 m why u not set or let trader set it it you are beginner you may need to set as 1000 $ not stupid 1 m another thing not have stop loss or take profit its totaly stupid paper trading system i like webull paper trading system

I think it can't be changed, they are margin by default but as long as you don't use it, you'll always be trading in cash only

Did you provide the necessary information? Sometimes decline could be the name n address does not match, hence they cant approve
