Is the clear hoses are turning brown it's just brown algea. There's probably a little bit of light reaching your hose. Nothing to worry about but if it's bothering you you could just cover the hoses to stop the light so that algea can't grow.

Yo bro i got the same filter but I just installed it and it seems to be making a light rattling type of noise but i’m not sure if it’s just because it is new and has bubbles or if it is scratching something
Most likely it as bubbles in it like you said. Sometimes unpluging it for a few seconds and plunging it back in is enough to make the bubbles come out. Other times you might have to unplug it, turn off the 2 hose valves unscrew the fill cap on top and slitly open the the intake hose valve until water is level with the fill hole.
In some case new filters impeller can rattle for a few days until they get a bio film on them.

I’ve checked all three gaskets from the hoses to the one around when you lock it, but the water it’s coming out off the side holes 😅idk what else could it be 😢
I'm not sure which side hole your refering too?
Do you mean it's coming from the handle holes? The head would be cracked.
After you check your gasket and it's fine, are you closing the filter locks diagonally to put even pressure on the main gasket?
I have the same filter and I’m having problem where it keeps leaking from somewhere and idk how to figure it out 😢I need help my tank keep getting empty

The official Aqueon video shows that your placement of media is in the canister backwards.
Your right but if you put it the way that aqueon show you, your media will get all plugged up with sludge. In aqueon instruction they show to put the sponges in the top basket but the water goes down the tube and then back up through the baskets. My way make the water going through the sponges first.
Beneficial bacterias don't grow on sludge so the dirtier the media get, makes the filter less effective.
@@BenAfricanCichlids You are correct. I alternate media positions every time I clean the filter.
@@BenAfricanCichlids I find that using a pre-filter on the intake pipe significantly lowers the sludge build up rate, which lengthens the time between canister cleanings.
On this 90g aquarium I have 2 canisters filters.I alternate cleaning 1 of them every 2 weeks so both get clean 1 per month. This is what I have to do for this overstock tropheus tank.
