    Didn't think of the arms on sides or the strap, thanks, good call. Those two were big, however, the biggest reveal to me is that shots i have that not as sharp as I want could be me and shake. I always assumed the auto focus didn't work, or hadn't adjusted or focused on exactly what I wanted. I endeavour to use my tripods more and take more time. Well that’s a loaded question! Every situation, calls for different settings. I’d suggest starting in aperture priority mode (A) or shutter priority mode (S). Which allows you to control background blur, or motion. Once you get your hands on it and start shooting, shoot me a comment or message on Instagram if you have more specific questions!

    • @kyletaggart

    I have been watching lots of videos trying to learn stuff cause im complete noob, but whenever I see things about shutterspeed I always wonder, is there any reason to not just shoot at like 1/1000 for everything, including things standing still? it seems from videos, only reason to have slow shutterspeed is you want to have blur in motion. so for all other reasons why not just use a fast speed? what is the difference in 1/100, 1/250 or 1/1000 if shooting a still image such as an apple sitting on a table? will the results be different in the 3 speeds? any advantage to do the lower speed or the higher speed?

    • @TheKiMonte
      @TheKiMonte Pƙed 4 lety +1

      Faster shutter speed means less light exposed to the sensor which create a darker image. If you are indoor, the light in your environment will not be as much as from direct sun light outside. The slower shutter speed helps your image to be brighter and let your sensor exposed with more light. This also helps if your lens let's say has f5.6 aperture. You will need a slower shutter speed because it lets not as much light as the faster lens like f1.8. Just play around with your gear and different kind lens and you will get it

    • @kyletaggart

      2. Application List > Smart Remote Embedded
      3. Download the Image Edge Mobile app from Sony if you don't have it already (formerly Play Memories)

      There are numerous factors here. Sharpness, without editing, is attributed to the lens. So a canon 200d using whatever lens - is different than a Sony a6000 and whatever lens. What focus should one choose if doing a couple photoshoot?

    • @kyletaggart
      @kyletaggart  Pƙed 3 lety +1

      Depends on the shot / look you’re going for. If you’re worried about someone’s face being in focus and the other not, pay more attention to the focus plane / depth of field. If you’re shooting at say, an aperture of f1.4, it would be incredibly tough to have both faces in focus if the couple is staggered. They’d need to both be in the focus plane side by side. đŸ‘đŸ»

    Any chance you could do a video about how to take shots with an a6000 where you create a black background via the combo of settings? I saw this one (m.czcams.com/video/MvgvIvy_zNQ/video.html#) with a different brand camera but if you could do it in your normal easier to follow way on an a6000.......that would be great. Thanks!

      That was the on a6600 and I used the 16-55 f2.8. I had it for two weeks and I also did a video on that lens!
