What do you think of the wrap? Whats is your experience with exhaust wrap or what have you heard? Let us know in the comments!
Experience its 6 stars , my outlander xmr 1000 2015 has melted seat maby I must wrap my exhaust pipe
Best way to wrap pipes. Wet exhaust wrap. Tie or fasten other end of wrap to something that won't move. Wrap pipe as tight as you can pull.
Great video you guys I especially love when I'm able to learn something looking forward to more
Man really working that thing over, New tire and wheel set, exhaust and tuner. I’m sure it will sound pretty cool! The V-twin on the Can-Am’s always have a good sound. Nice job with that wrap should help with the heat.
Yeah, had alot of help from a company. She will be a whole new beast eh?
Nice. And yeah as someone else said it helps to soak the wrap. Also when tightening the stainless bands, just rotate the pliers clockwise and it’ll roll over and get much tighter then just cut off the excess.
I've wrapped my Harley pipes but found it is easier to put wrap in tub of water then wrap. You can get it tighter. Just have to let run for while after and dry out
Good tip! Thanks!
Hey I know can-ams run hot you should look into running Evans waterless rad fluid it makes the world of different in the temp on your bike
Great video. I really want to get the same exhaust system just hope it isn't too loud.
It isn't as loud as my Yoshimura was, but the tone is so deep you'd think it was.
Mainville ATV and Outdoors do you have the quiet core in it? I love a deep tone, just don't want to blast everyone around me. Lol
@@markminyard4874 No quiet cores for this guy. lol
Mainville ATV and Outdoors I don't want it either, just a few of the guys I ride with don't like super loud exhaust. So I think I might be ok and if it is too loud I could get the quiet core. I just really want the rjwc full mud series exhaust system like this one. Thanks for the info.
Looks awesome! heard from a few people the spray is useless but to each their own, did you use the fiberglass or titanium wrap? I was checking out the RJWC system but the price is unreasonable.
would hose clamps work to hold the wrap down
Did yours smoke when you started if the first time after the installation
What’s the bolts on the end of the headers for. Oxygen sensor?
Did it last? WAs there a drop in temperature? How much if so?
Did the Header make a noticeable power difference? Is it worth it?
Your Can Am is going to sound beastly once those are installed. Also where did you measure your exhaust temp from?
Measured threw plastic, several spots on the header, y-pipe and the mufflers themselves on both the old and new systems. (Its already all done, the video schedual is later)
@@MainvilleATV ah right on. Yeah I measured mine a few inches from where the header attaches to the motor. And before my tuner my Grizzly ran really hot and lean as well.
I dont get why companies tune their bikes to run so lean...
Does the bottom of your RJWC rear header section slightly touch the top of your gearbox? Also are the ones you installed in this video the 1155 header or 1156 header?
I have zero fitment issues like the exhaust touching anything. As for what model header I have I dont know but dirtylife.ca might.
Whats the pipe size?
Dries up and blows off
The wrap does?
@@MainvilleATV yes I had some on my Yamaha Viking 700. Im not waiting time and money on my XMR Defender, but I do wish you better luck than I had.
hi i want buy dual rjwc or dual empire for outlander xmr 2015 1000 any help ?????
Sure, simple contact Dirty Life by facebook, instagram or their contact information on www.dirtylife.ca and let them know we sent you! You'll love it.
I was interested in this stuff but the reviews on Amazon was not great
So far so good here! Seems like a quality kit personally. No issues from me. Mayve dirtylife.ca has a different one than Amazon?
Oh maybe so this stuff comes with a spray and stainless ties. They were saying it turns white after one ride in in the reviews but this was on motor cycles I may give it a try
@@catjackoff-road855 nothing white about mine and it's been out several times full temp
hope black exhaust wrap that will not fase
I'm sorry, I dont understand?
@@MainvilleATV Usually, the black wrap fades...
