PLO earlier and Hamas now have modeled their stragegy based on the Algerian national liberation war against the French, which involved lots of terrorist attacks, retaliation by the French, lots of Algerians dying, and ultimate the French leaving. And it is the wrong strategy to follow because it is missing one crucial point: the French had somewhere to go (France). The Israelis don't, they will fight to the last one.

There are a few recent videos on his channel with Iran in the title that are worth watching. He's really adept at drawing correlations with archetypal interpretations of scripture and spiritual interpretations of current events. Good stuff. One thing that struck me.
If there are no dead children to show, then the strategy would not work!...
Besides, about 200 hostages against 30.000 dead civilians is not fair in any case and in my opinion it cannot be considered "defending" ....
Apply the same logic to Ukraine... you would have to make a huge massacre of the Russian population to compensate for Russian atrocities in Ukraine...
So. Let's call a spade a spade. Israel and Russia are war criminals and should be tried under international law.
That of course does not exclude Hamas, but they are terrorists and that is something else. Just as bad, but the origin is different.
In my opinion a terrorist is a kind of a guerrilla fighter. He has to apply this "fighting technique" because he is outmatched by his opponent. Just look at what is happening in Gaza. Don't misunderstand me. I do not justify the behaviour of terrorists, but I am convinced that terrorism is created by the powerful, who oppress the weak to the point of creating terrorism.
I don't want to imagine how many terrorists are being created by the Gaza war right now. If my loved ones were to be annihilated in the impact of an Israeli rocket, I would be the first to offer to immolate myself in Israel.
An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth...
This spiral of hatred and fanaticism can only be stopped if we unveil the injustices of this world and eradicate them by applying the law.
But this will never happen, because the powerful will always oppress the weak. It is the law of nature. That is why I only wish for something terrible to happen that will wipe out all life on this planet. I prefer nothingness to injustice. Call me a radical, but I'm really fed up...

@@Ren-1979 Russia declared war on Ukraine. As long as they obide by the terms they are not war criminals. There are rules of engagement. So Russia, whether you believe the war is justified or not, is not a war criminal. Neither is Israel. Despite the entire world being against them they have a clear objective and did not act outside of the rules of engagement. As such this outcry to there being civilian casualties lies upon Hamas. They had ample warning and terms declared as to why, how, when and where there would be an offensive strike. Factually the IDF was attempting to evacuate the area and Hamas forced civillians to stay put. Wich results in civillians dying due to that being their obvious goal. Something that isn't new and has been a part of their strategy from the beginning. They would fire rockets from schools just to make sure that with retaliation there are dead children for the world to see. Unfortunately most people are completely unaware this is their standard modus operandi and the Hamas leadership, while living safely in other countries, have declared it's good they have so many martyrs for the cause. They are the war criminals in ever single sense of the word. Deliberately targeting non combatants. Building basis under civillian structures and effectively putting them in harm's way deliberately. Using them as human shields in an attempt to sway public opinion. Israël has been very clear as to what they demand for the end of this conflict. All hostages to be returned including the dead bodies they desecrated.

@@danielkeizer4174Understood. I partly imagined such a strategy from Hamas. But. There are a few things I still don't understand. Why does the population of Gaza follow Hamas' rules? I mean, if you have the choice of being killed by a rocket attack or by Hamas if you try to flee, then I personally would try to flee.
By the way, I don't understand why Israel didn't provide safe refugee camps for those who wanted to flee the country. Even on Israeli territory if necessary. For me personally, this is already a war crime. Failure to help by the Israeli government.
On the subject of war crimes. I really don't know anything about the rules of war, but from a purely logical point of view, something is a war crime for me if the civilian population suffers as a result, and that is the case in both wars. For example, I count the tortured population in Bucha as a war crime. There, civilians were found tied up and shot from behind.
The Israeli military is not quite as guilty as the Russian military, but no matter what the rules of war are, you can't cause that kind of destruction without being guilty of something. The Gaza Strip has been reduced to ruins.

There has never been a palestinian people. If there were than Jews who also lived there - just as Arabs - are also "palestinians." The Philistines were an Aegean people - related to the Greeks and with no connection ethnically, linguistically, or historically at all with Arabia - they conquered the Mediterranean coastal plain that is now Gaza in the 12th Century BCE. Israel defeated the Philistines back then and drove them out of Gaza. The name Philistine was much later given to Israel by Roman Emperor Hadrian, who's occupation was responsible for several decrees that sought to crush the National identity and religious spirit of the Jews some time after Roman Emperor Titus smashed the Israeli resistance in the year 70 and took most Israelis with them as slaves to spread them all over their huge Empire. But the Roman Empire disappeared and other occupier's toke over the Land such as the Ottoman (Turkish) Empire and the name Philistine was done away with and they renamed the whole region Syria - until the British became the world power and occupier and it was them to rename the whole region Palestina, that is: Syria, Lebanon, Israel and Egypt combined. So ask yourself: where is the evidence that proves that there was an ancient palestinian State? Where are the old scrolls that describes its history - in it mentioned old Kings, old Rulers, old Governments and Government buildings - where are the old cities, old coins, old ruins, old roads, old harbors, even songs ??? THEY CAN’T SHOW ANY OF THESE MENTIONED ARTIFACTS ! Israel on the other hand CAN show MILLIONS of mentioned history and artifacts that PROVE they belong there. And don’t come with the Canaanites as ancestors because Abraham is both the original father of both Jews and Arabs. No, it is islam that doesn't tolerate any other religion in (any) region) which is the root of all conflict. We are waiting for the return of Lord Yeshua / Jesus to bring about peace.
