There isn't a song NF has that I don't like. Even his old stuff. He is Christian but he keeps it real. He lets people know that everyone can struggle with their demons...even depression. This video and song makes me & my oldest daughter tear up every time. She saw her dad beat me many times up to the age of 4. She started sleeping on top of me when she was 4 because she said daddy wouldn't kill mommy if she was sleeping on me. I eventually got out safely with my 2 daughters. My oldest is now 14, middle daughter 12 & I remarried to my knight in shining armour and we have a 5 year old daughter. Sorry...just felt like sharing because I can relate to a lot of his songs❤
Oh my god. You are astounding! God bless you, you gotta be a hell of a woman and mother to beat that issue head on. You’re very likely raising three* very strong daughters! I just watched both your videos reacting to him and it's awesome finding someone who really appreciates what he tries to convey instead of simply being impressed at the fact he can rap fast. However (and I have no idea if someone else has commented this and I am wasting my time) NF is unique in the way that to really understand a lot of what he says or references you have to listen to songs in the order he released them, because as he grows he lets us know through his songs and it's amazing to see how far he has come. I actually made a list of the general ones you should probably listen to (not necessarily react, just hopefully listen on your own time) so you can get a better grasp of where he is coming from.
From his first album: Intro, Mansion, All I Have, Wake Up, and Notepad. From his second album: Intro 2, I Just Wanna Know, How Could You Leave Us, Breathe, Real, Oh Lord, Grindin', Statement, and Lost In The Moment. Finally from his third album: Intro 3, Outcast, Green Lights, Dreams, Let You Down, Destiny, My Life, If You Want Love, Know, Lie, and Outro. Hope you get to experience all these gems someday! Keep doing what you're doing.
It's so sad to hear the pain in your voice in the video.... I really respect and appreciate that you are somewhat open about yourself it's not an easy thing to do.

Do mansion by nf, it is a truly powerful song and one of his two best in my opinion.
The other being remember this, also a very very powerful song that is just line after line of truth. I can't listen to either of those without tearing up at least a little bit.... okay a lot.

Well done! That is a heavy song with strong lyrics.. your reaction came across to me as being open minded and respectful even with some of the more challenging imagery. When you share of your own experiences here, imbuing these videos with that wisdom it makes me think, sharing is what reaction videos should really be about. Its been a few weeks
Thanks for re-introducing me to NF! I remember listening to No Name a few months ago, liking it but not choosing to listen to anything else from him. Decided to listen to a few of his songs after watching your reactions. I love this song and How Could You Leave Us, especially the last one. Kinda put me off of suicidal thoughts cuz it showed me how much of an impact killing myself could have on those close to me. So you basically stopped my suicidal thoughts, so thanks so much! Hope whoever reads this is enjoying their day, and sorry for making this comment so long!

Really, really heavy but amazing. Yeah, music was my outlet when I was growing up too. Having my dad molest.me ripped me apart and its like music put me back together till I could get to therapy. Songs like Paralyzed, How Could You Leave Us. Breathe, Mansion, and Lost In The Moment are songs that may absolutely bring tears. Another song with a very deep meaning and message is 1-800 by Logic

definitely love your reactions, not because they're reaction videos (not really a fan of those but yours are different), but because of the message behind it and how raw it is. I would love to see your reaction to NF - How Could You Leave Us. That song is legit how I felt losing my mom and would like to know what you think of the song in general. Also, another song I would recommend is NF - All I have, not to react to but to listen to what he has to say. That would be more for you to hear for the message. In the end, keep doing what your doing and keep your head up, you'll get where you want to be :)

Right my heart hurts for people that are going through stuff ....I saved my 3 younger siblings when I was four yrs old. So that tells you how young they were. I don't see myself as a hero. Later I heard that if I didn't do what I did my two little sisters would have starved to death.

I'm not really someone who comments on videos often, but I appreciate the two reactions I've seen from you quite a bit. I'm also someone who grew up in church as a Christian. Coming out of a culture of fear and shame and religion, I had plenty of baggage that I'm still working through. Now at 37, I'm not who I thought I was going to be. I'm all tatted up. Have friends that younger me woulda judged me for. Struggle openly with my own mental health.....and I'm a pastor. NF quotes make it into almost every message I give. I'm just tired of the games and fake and masks. Being a human is hard and each person's story is so valuable.
