Hi Sonos. I have a small room. No space to use Era 300 behind or to the side . Can you please unable the Era 300 to use a pair + Sonos Sub as a Dolby Atmos system for my TV (with AppleTv 4K)? Tanks
Anyone having trouble finding a sweet spot / triangular sound with a pair of Era 300s? I’ve experimented with room placement, toe-in, done TruePlay before vs. after pairing as a stereo, adjusted EQ and Height. Despite such, sitting slightly to one side of a sofa renders the vocal much more prominent on that side of the listening vs. ideally in the center stage. Any help is most appreciated!
Haven't got into Spatial audio and Atmos content is still limited on streaming services. I will stick with the Fives with my Arc+dual subs until the Era 500 come out.
@@thefilmpoets The Fives work perfectly with the Arc and dual subs. Sonos kinda de-tunes the Fives in surround sound duties because the sub(s) take most of the low bass frequencies. You might have to add/delete the Fives/sub from the Home theater group if you want the best possible sound of the Five+sub with music only.

@@Lotusandletters I have a Beam Gen 2, Gen 3 Sub, and One SLs in my office on a LG OLED 55C1. There is a noticeable increase in bass sound/feel when watching the same content on the Arc/2X sub/Five on my LG OLED 77C1. My main TV room is 3X larger than my office. The dual subs do a wonderful job of filling the space without it feeling it is directional (subs on either side of Arc). I don't know how much the rear Fives are contributing to the bass sound/feel compared to my One SLs in the other room. Going with dual subs is like going to a stereo pair from a single speaker type of experience. Dual subs might be too much if placed in a small/med space.
I hate that you need adapters for the era 300... why isn't the connectivity already inclueded. Sorry but for this price it's so unnecessary and it's kills the design.
Im contemplating on buying an arc soundbar, sub woofer and 2 Era 300s. My question is if I want to play music will all the speakers play music independently ?

I had Sonos 5 it has connections problems I sold it and bought five the same problem (different wifi router and place). Sounds good but I expect pleasure not stress with hardware. Looking for something else, can be more expensive someone something???

I am really disappointed with all surround speakers such as Sonos One, Sonos Five, and Sonos Era 300 because there is no dialogue in the surround speakers and only effects sounds coming. My parents are watching TV a lot when they are sitting in the living room and when they watch News, sport, etc. they really disappoint with kind of these surround speakers without dialogue. What is the goal of 3D system? It has to be the sound comes from each speaker. They are sitting in the back and always increasing the sound level because the dialogue comes only from Sonos Arc and not from surround speakers. I changed the Sonos system to Sony HT-A9 with SA-SW5 subwoofer and they are so happy and they can sit wherever in the living room and they can hear the dialogue and effects sound at the same time. I hope from Sonos rethinks of the surround speakers. They are not only for effect sound, but we are looking even so with dialogue so wherever somebody sit in the living room can hear not need to increase the sound level until to hear the dialogue from Sonos Arc only. Why we have to buy around $1000 for surround speakers just to give us effect sound!!!!

What you are describing is not surround sound. What you want are multiple speakers. Surround sound needs to be with a 5.1 output to get the best experience. It's not meant to play the same thing everywhere, it's meant to accentuate spatial audio in things like movies. Not for news stations.
Missing power on front speaker of the era300. Little disappointed. I will return. Not all movies are atmos so better go back to the five set as a stereo

I don’t mean as front speakers. If I compare it with the Sonos five they are disappointed. The atmos function is nice to have but only a few movies and music does provide this. The point I am making is. They can make it a much convenient and powerful speaker without loosing the side and top function if they add more power to the front speaker of the Era 300. This way if you use it as rear/back stereo speakers it wil preform much better and it will sell better. I see this and hear this from many buyers who bought the era 300 and hoped to have a complete speaker. But got disappointed. I hope Sonos wil upgrade the sound level of the front speaker a bit more. For my I returned my set and got back to a set of Sonos Five as rear set of my set with the arc and sub3

I got era300 and a stand as rear speakers for arc, is it better to set them with a slight inward tilt as shown in the video?
Yes, we do recommend setting them at a slight angle toward the listener.

Their not suppose to use the center Channel when in rears.
