My Dad served two tours in Nam as a military advisor with the South Vietnamese army and as a father, he was very quiet and said very little to anyone, he never was violent or hostile towards anyone and was married to my mother for 50 years, he never talked about combat conditions in Nam...I, myself was mobilized with my Army unit during the 1991 Gulf War, sent to Kuwait, but never experienced the horrors of combat conditions... I am lucky and not a paraplegic due to IEDs....gg, Tampa Florida

I wonder how the Vietnamese deal with PTSD? Does their government cast them aside, like ours does? My brother (1st Cav) suffered it terribly. Alchoholism, health problems, and took his own life, at 69. Very little help from VA. Seems he was just another number. A burden who was worthless. Wars should only be fought between politicians and defense companies. There wouldn’t be any war, if that was the case.😔🤬🤷🏼♂️✌️
