Tbh I see lots of river fights.
I personally think that’s why - Roaming Ryze forces fights > many roams happen via the river > you’re just outright better in those fights.
Those high elo brainiacs probably also see the other two runes as suboptimal on tank Ryze.

@PekinWoof The waterwalking is because you can move in and out of river and get hella mana regen due to ryze passive.

Heya Pekin, do you think (about your description) this is a produce from gargoyle's stoneplate cassiopeia, as the fundamentals are the same albeit fimbulwinter over seraphs, battle mages becoming tanky is a nice feeling on the playing side! I remember you had a cassio on the enemy team top lane and you were hinting at stoneplate.

Demonic Embrace on this build is nuts. I tested Rylai's too and you're like 5000 HP Ryze dealing 800 damage per wave tick lol
The fountain dive is everyday play in Dota 2 🛐
Pretty sure the Roaming runes and general build Is just more suited for the co-ordinated play in Pro play, than say the wild west that is Solo Queue

The description text says "immobilizing, or slowing if you are melee, an enemy champion consumes mana to grant shield"
The "for melee" part just applies to slowing, ryze root and everfrost root will work.
