@@cupidok2768 health over armor because soraka having a big health pool I believe makes her rejuvenate a bit stronger, and then no bone plating because I'm assuming Pekin expected to be able to trade in a way where bone plating wouldn't matter. If he heals it all up anyways, why does he need to burst resistance (I think, at least)

18:00 If you hit multiple people with your Q it doesn't heal you more. What happens is each of those "essence" that comes out of someone who's been hit refreshes the cooldown of your passive (the one that allows you to W without losing HP), that's all.
Hitting her q activities rejuvenation, which reads: Rejuvenation: “The target Heal power heals every 0.5 seconds and gains Movement speed bonus movement speed that decays over the duration.”The target being you, you heal yourself with the hit, then when you W you lose that Hp. Your not avoiding the loss your just using the HP you just got. If you repeatedly q on a champion you will slowly heal yourself
@@Ghostslovecupcakes You lose less HP when you W someone else (while you’ve recently hit a Q on a champ) not just because of the regen that you get, but also because the W itself will cost less HP to cast.
Im probably wrong on the time specifics because i got that from the website and not the current client so correction here :but it seems to do healing based on your ap and does it over 2.5 seconds and this does not change on how many you hit based on what i tested
@@Ghostslovecupcakes Soraka Q heals you AND lowers/completely removes (depends on how many points you have on W) the HP you use one your W. The healing part only procs once per Q, while the timer in which you can W without losing HP resets whenever the green spirit (idk how to describe it anymore it's green on the default skin) from each target gets to you. Hope that explained.

I wish that instead of challenger account troll picks in normals and stomps this was an Iron 4 to Challenger series, with a wheel spin to pick the champ he has to play mid, where after a win he gets a stored reroll token up to a max of 2 ARAM style.
It would sate the "wacky mid pick" video enjoyer, but would also give the video's a target.

Im sure it would be funny to watch but imagine the poor bronze players in their promos getting rolled over by a 15 in 0 skarner mid or something. Also in Diamond+ some picks just don’t work and will tilt ur own team. Im sure pekin is aware of this and will thus not do something like this since he‘s already so careful with his teams experience in these „troll pick“ videos, even in normals.

People totally underestimate how nasty she is in lane, her Q spam + regen makes her unwinnable in a poke fight. I would love to see you play more of this tbh, even shurleyas roka mid and roaming is pretty effective

One thing that may be useful is talking about how the enemy can punish your picks if they play correctly. Most of the builds can't work in high elo but you don't always talk about why.

Well in this case you just let the wave shove to you and ignore the soraka for the most part, focusing on sidestepping her Qs. Focus on getting farm early and let her shove in. She's very vulnerable to getting ganked if you don't botch it royally

While I understand this is a for fun thing where you just do whatever you want, I can't see the logic behind not getting your W until you've maxed your E. The heal is still a great utility to have in a 2v2 or dragon teamfight scenario, even if it's just one point

It’s a full ap build soraka isn’t supposed to be a support in this build. Max out the only other offensive skill to maximize damage capability plus there’s always the ult for team fights
Soraka mid is one of my favorite picks. She is so oppressive to deal with.

I play a lot of Yone, Soraka is almost a strict counter. She has absurdly low cost high damage poke on a short cooldown, self peel, and easy gank set up because she can keep you away from fully shoving a lane.
soraka is a pretty hard counter for any champion who spams, yone, yasuo and irelia specially.

i've played soraka mid quite a bit when i play flex with friends. quick tip would be to press r whenever your bot laners are fighting for the free dark seal stacks

One thing to note is, e doesnt really do a lot to justify skipping w at level 4 (or not skilling it until lvl 13...). It's not rare you'd need it on a river fight, mid 2v2 or whatever. You can MAYBE skip it until lvl 8 but again, it really doesnt do anything to get points in e

To be honest, that Yone in the video was kinda "shy" and scared of getting damages :))) I mean, if he could totally beat Soraka at early game if he had known how to use his skills probably. Afterall, he could have caused a lot of damage for Soraka or even killed her if he approached her, which was the thing he didn't dare to do so :")) that's my opinion.

AP soraka mid or top lane, is always fun. She's such a great champ. you're damage still falls off hard, but she's an amazing lane bully and you migrate into being a 2nd support by late game.

@@alexandersarver3463 Warmogs is good if you arent that consistent with landing Q to regen your HP. I used to build it when I was still learning her positioning. Revitalize is too good on her to switch to overgrowth

Just in case someone wants to actually play Soraka mid. Put at least a point in W. Even at one point when you land a Q it heals a ton and can turn river fights.

Can you do a symmetrical challange where you have a mage apc bot with teleport, a marksman adc top with teleport, a assasin as a jnglr with ignite and a tank with exhaust and demelition and hullbreaker mid and a "aggresive" support (like soroka or senna) with heal mid? I call it a challange, but it's a strategy i came up with, but is don't know 5 people who know what there doing to try it out. The idea is that most support items and tank items are cheaper and also that sinds sidelanes are the carry's now they can use the extra experience. Support and jnglr help there where most needed, as usuel and the tank tries to take mid tower as fast as possible. So around 3:30 when jnglr is ready. The support starts to roam. You could switch adc to bot, cause they will come in very handy with dragon, but as the current state of the game where most tanks/fighters are played top. The adc could counter that and also a control mage would probably have a easier job against a 2 VS 1 in the botlane. You could also switch the tank or assasin for a fighter, but i think a tank would have the easiest job defending mid when left alone especially with hullbreaker and/or gargoyle stone plate and a assasin would have the easiest job ganking.
