The way the other guy was so convincing, and how he lured Riley in and then pulled back BEFORE they could kiss because he wanted to “respect” his decision to be friends is so sly! He definitely baited Riley in and he saw that it worked because Riley leaned in to kiss him. I just know that if there is a part 2, they’re gonna have a heavy make out session, resuming where they left off.
Not to mention, Riley’s smile in the early clip truly sold to me that it wasn’t just a friendly smile, that’s a smile of seeing your crush and he nailed it. Both actores did their job well. It felt like I was a third wheel watching it.
That was a fun scene. The two actors had great chemistry. I hope you’ll keep this going.

Great story/film. Excellent!
So either Riley is still in the closet; or Riley is cheating on his partner and wishes to stay "friends" with this other guy; or Riley's heart has been broken so many times or seen other people get their hearts broken many times that he's really not sure if it's worth getting in relationships anymore; or he's simply hung up on his many options but this guy in particular wants to go further.
I love that the plot could have gotten to the point of the short story in so many different ways, leaving things like this for interpretation is great!

A superbly acted short film - by both actors. The erotic tension that builds towards the end is unbelievable. That requires acting skills.
The content of the film, however, is unpleasant: a power struggle in which Skye wants to control Riley. While Skye claims that Riley speaks wrongly for both of them, he in turn speaks very clearly about Riley and thinks he knows what he feels and wants deep down, which is a relationship with Skye. This is an attempt to manipulate Riley's feelings, who in turn may just be afraid of being psychologically overpowered by Skye, in a sense losing his life. It seems clear that Riley has feelings for Skye, too, but Riley feels safer sticking to a friendship rather than a gay relationship.
Skye on top, Riley bottom, Skye as ruler. Riley suspects that, and that's why he hesitates. If Skye were more reserved and patient, Riley would be able to move towards him more easily. As it is, Skye's behavior almost seems like an attack on Riley - an attempt at overpowering.

It’s so interesting to me how they turned it around. Riley being the more stereotypically gay one and being the one not wanting to escalate the relationship, it’s a very new perspective. Especially because that puts Sky in a position that makes it easier for him to get all close to Riley like that. Typically, in this situation it’s the straight passing one who will want to keep up the idea that they’re straight in others minds, not wanting to escalate the relationship. Because of this, in order to not seem creepy, the “gayer” seeming one will back off. However, in this dynamic it’s flipped differently. Well done.
