    Fantastic learning experience. Excellent video.
The ac on my is not working and I was told it needs a new compressor installed for a total cost of $1450, parts and labor. In your opinion is this a fair price.
Also, your link to the compressor sold on amazon is not a match to the CV6Z-19703-AJ part number that I have for my 2013 escape, would that fit?

If that include the system to be recharged yeah..that might be the current cost of the repair. You may want to check on another AC compressor that says it fits you year make and model.

For the ac compressor on a 2015 Ford Escape SE 2.0, What is the correct Pulley Grooves? Ford service doesn't know, but a website is asking for that specific information. It wants to know if it's a 4 Pulley grooves or 6 Pulley Grooves. I need to know which one to get, don't want to buy an incorrect part. Thank you.

You may want to look at the AC compressor to see which one is currently on your vehicle.

Do you change the condenser when you change the compressor??

We did not need to change the AC condenser on this Ford Escape. It was in good condition.

Any reason you guys didn’t replace the drier when doing the compressor too? I’ve read that they should be done at the same time?

Afterwards, does it have to be reprogrammed to acknowledge it??

Nope, You should be good to go once the system has been charged. You should have a licensed AC technician charge the system for you.

I bought a compressor for my 2013 escape and theyre mechanic is saying it’s the wrong one, I called around and apparently ford uses the 2012 escape compressor? Does that even sound right?

It may have to do with when your car was built. It might have a 2012 AC compressor if it was built late on 2012 but labled as a 2013 model year.

Hello, I have 2015 Ford Escape Titanium in less than a year mechanic replace the A/C vacuum hose like 5 times and it continue leaking in the same hose. Any suggestion what will be the issue, that make that hose going bad?

If it is a factory hose then the installation has to be wrong somehow. That shouldn't be happening.
