Jeremy Irons és un gran actor
I just love to hear his voice 💕
I love that guy :), he is so down-to-earth and a very gentleman. I wish I could meet him for real during my life but it will probably remain a wish! Brilliant Actor
Wow . I think Mr. Irons has a great personality . I especially enjoyed his way of sorting out how to play the twins . So glad and grateful to have seen this today .
Jeremy, is
The greatest, Actor, Singer, love him never get enough of of his talent,
One of my favourite actors, an incredible gifted gentleman chameleon.
Dead Ringers is one of the best performances of the century
Word!
How do you have a meaningful conversation when you go into a trance every time he speaks?
Certainly one of the most delightful interviews I've watched... no doubt because Jeremy is such a bright, engaging human being. Thanks for sharing this.
he is truly one of the best
I sent him a fan letter in the ‘80’s and one day I got a small envelope from him with his autographed photo (beard and longish hair), I still have it! So cool.
Hello Judith, that is quite remarkable!
Was he already an international legend in the 1980s? ! I am asking because I was born in the 1980s; and I have always liked only the "good old things".
Jeremy is not old though: he is getting more and more handsome as time goes by. Such a gift he is to us all!!
Can I ask you - if it be appropriate to enquire - how long did it take for you to get that letter with his reply????
I am very glad that you got it.
Personally, I do not believe in mere "luck", but rather in things happening because they are meant to be, destined to be. Thank you.
@@kindtonature5000 Hello, It probably too over a month or two to get a reply, as I was in Hollywood and he was in UK, and I’d forgotten about sending him a request letter for his autograph! It was perhaps mid to late 1980’s. Later, saw him in person, on The Tonight Show taping in Burbank! I believe he’s now 73.
may i ask where you sent the letter to? i’m assuming you wouldn’t be sending it directly to his address
@@akoninn I sent the letter in care of Screen Actor’s Guild, so they could forward it directly to him at his address at the time!
There are two reasons to watch Jeremy Irons in Lolita - the score and his voice. My fav movie of his.
A brilliant performance.
He did the reading for the audiobook version, as well.
I love this man❤️
Bless, Jeremy. in love and Light , Amazing Talents
I was lucky enough to get tickets for his appearance on the Tonight Show and enjoyed seeing him live!
He has. It all, so wonderful 🌺😘💕💕
He and alan rickman are probably the Best. Full stop.
Amazing how mesmerized I was watching this entire hour. What a treasure and life-affirming man.
He was the voice of Scar, Simba's bad uncle in The Lyon King. Incredible voice to describe the characters of Scar
Just watched "The Mission." Great film!
It is a bit of a pity that the interviewer was not picking up on subjects Mr. Irons was laying on the table. For instance the art of cleaning. And also the way Mrs. Streep was helping Mr. Irons transition to and from being lovers. I could see Mr. Irons was still emotional and in awe of how Mrs. Streep helped him. It would have been nice if the interviewer would have taken a moment of silence and let Mr. Irons have his emotions. And also let the audience have their emotions, because Mr. Irons told it so lovely. But unfortunately the interviewer went on with the list of questions on his lap.
What a Man!
Brilliant Actor .
Brilliant Voice.
Thanks for Sharing this. 🌏
Excellent interview with a genial actor, with a superb British accent.
The best actor
I wish I'd have been in the audience. I would have asked him about the relatively obscure movie he did, but one of my favorites of his, "Moonlighting".
Es tan atractivo!!!!
❤❤❤❤❤
For the better or the worse will face it all happy❤❤🎉🎉
Джереми Айронс мой любимый Актёр! Он талантливый, харизматичный, прекрасный и неповторимый!
oh god i love this man so much!!!!!!!!!!!
Sei stupendo,bellissimo.Ti adoro jeremi❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤💯🔝
He is very handsome and l really like 💝💝💝💝💝
Ohh that accent! What a man!
Who’s the host?

how didn’t they mention lolita omg
Probably because of how controversial that movie is…
He could be talking gibberish and I would still be totally captivated by him :: sigh ::
That's basically me when I watch early Angelina Jolie interviews.
He's so handsome. I have a thing for older men.
What is it about older men that attracts you? Don't shy from the details, please.
@@jimmaculate3802 It has nothing to do with the fact that he's older. It has to do, with the fact his cheekbones are practically centered at the top of his nose, (they're not quite there but it's very close,) his nose is in perfect harmony with his chin, and his cheekbones are so sharp you wonder how on earth he's even able to sleep on them. He is nothing short of a marvel of facial architecture. In all honesty, he's probably the reason a lot of these women get a thing for older men in the first place.
Same
Ditto yes he is! Love sophistication!❤
You like DILFs
When I saw that it was an hour long I thought "no way am I going to watch this whole thing" but here I am at about 1 in the morning having watched the whole thing! Very interesting, I could listen to him forever. As a young actress (very young) I would absolutely love to work with him someday. An absolute goal of mine. Brilliant Actor.
Hope you do get the chance to do that, Cherry. Best of luck to you!
A very talented actor.
He is so cool!
One of the UK's greatest and bravest ever actors. INLAND EMPIRE and Deadringers are my favourite performances.
That's a great point about being a brave actor, I mean to play those twins in Dead Ringers, and a paedophile in Lolita amongst others, takes some guts. Also he believes in equality for all too and that's a rare thing amongst the famous these days. And Brideshead absolutely still holds up beautifully today.
I love this interview :-) I love that he didn't know what he wanted to do. And it just worked out for him...:-) More people need to do interviews like this...
Very good interviewer, too. Asks, provokes a reaction, shuts up and lets the subject speak. US and UK so-called talk show hosts, please watch and learn.
*few can*
A very classy actor - one of the stage’s best for the ages ! Many sublime performances but my fav are Night Train to Lisbon, And Now Ladies and Gentlemen and Brideshead Revisited.
Can we agree that the world's best actors are British?
No. Yes, Jeremy Irons is a very good actor. But British people and Americans must STOP thinking they are better than anybody. Stop thinking "We are Zee BESYT". My first University English Professor introduced himself on the blackboard writing his name " I am Dr. BEST". Yes, he repeated his name several times, awfully proud of himself. Then, he gave us a reading list of American and English novels to read all along stressing out these were the BEST writers in the world. Today, I have taught, formed professional actors for several decades, this in several languages and really hardly any English speaking people speak any languages nor are capable of acting on stage in roles speaking in several languages. But this is to point out how inflexible anglophones actors really are..... They are limited, often physically boring, they are stiff and either too British or too American.
It takes an amazing blend of both arrogance and ignorance to make a statement so ridiculous. Perhaps you should invest some time in broadening your exposure to the world and the many talented people who live in it Dexter.
Not particularly, no.
They are Kenyan
WTF why he didnt voice his iconic character in the live action remake of the Lion King!!! Why oh why, because there was not enough black actors involved in the movie, we have ourselves to blame for this.
TN_AU i agree
Rodrigo Borgia - sublimely magnificent :)
urbane and lovely *sigh*
British class
this guy is a real lifr templar.
Alan Rikkin
He is soooooo... Sigh
I can't understand his speech! Not just the pronunciation, but the expressions and odd words. And I thought I understood British English! What I understood were the perfect rounded syllables of Brideshead Revisited and I, Claudius and similar. Regular middle class British is a foreign language to me, as unlike RP as the cockney Eliza Doolittle is from the Queen.
