Financial fair play and Newcastle United. Two phrases I didn't expect to see in this century
FFP wont be a issue with newcastle because they didnt spend much with MA apparently they have 200-300m to spend in January
FFP won’t be a problem for Newcastle due to being the lowest spenders in the league for the last 14 years. Newcastle will have a ludicrous amount to spend in January.
What players would want to join in January? Come on they could have a 100 billion to spend doesn’t mean any top players will join, relegation battle or champions league battle I know which I would take
@@adamthedude9655 Carrasco, Oscar and Hulk all chose money in China over Champions League football. You don’t think a few world class players would join an established English club for a big payday?

Im sick of reading and hearing that us Newcastle fans are dreaming of signing the best and most expensive players in the world, that couldn't be any further from the truth. All we want is some commitment, we'd be happy to see similar levels of investment as West Ham, Aston Villa, Everton, just to make us competitive in the league and help the club and the team move in the right direction. We don't expect instant success, we don't expect instant investment, we don't expect Mbappe, we just want to love our club again and go into a weekend with positivity and excitement to see the team play and hope that we can win, because for most of the past 14 years the club has shown close to zero ambition and was ran as a glorified advertising board for an owners business totally free of charge. Fans go into every weekend with nothing but anxiety just hoping that we put in some type of performance and if we do get beat it isn't a thrashing.
Even after the takeover and the positivity it has caused around the fans and club over the last 24 hours, go and ask any Newcastle fan and we still see the club in real danger of relegation, that is due the lingering negativity of the past 14 years.
Spot on mate 👍 dream of being a Leicester but we expect to be keeping pace with villa, Everton and Leeds atleast in terms of investment and commitment

@@basilfawlty8244 There is a massive possibility that they won't. Remember the little thing called FFP. Newcastle as a brand are not on the same levels of worldwide franchising as the bigger teams in England so they will not be able to go out and spend £140 million in January as Newcastle will most likely not make that kind of profit within the next 3-4 seasons that abide under the FFP rules.

Before Mike Ashley, the club were regularly playing European football. It wouldn’t have taken much for that to continue under Ashley. It might be hard for other fans to get their heads around but to him there was no difference between 5th and 15th. In fact, he would have rather finished 15th because that means they didn’t need to invest in a bigger squad for Europe. That was demonstrated under Pardew in the Europa League. The club’s league form suffered dramatically and they only signed one player that previous summer. Subsequently they made noises about European football being counterproductive. The last time the training ground was updated it was state of the art, one of the best in the country. Fast forward to today they use wheelie bins for ice baths and paddling pools to relax in. The club has been used as a vehicle to advertise sports direct. That’s it. Before they used to have ambition - sometimes it didn’t work, but sometimes it did. Now with Ashley gone, the fans are just happy to not have an owner who was destroying any hint of ambition that came before him
The new owner doesn’t like to lose and so rich he can have people cut into little pieces.

Didn't he try buying manchester united a year or 2 ago.
Happy for Newcastle as a rival supporter EPL is the best league in the world tought it couldn't get better.
Newcastle's first target on the next transfer window is Mo Salah.
Endless ridicule and embarrassment made me walk away, man utd had my support after the treble win in 98 but after the moyes and lgv, ole disasters I have finally decided to give up and switch my support to NEWCASTLE UTD !!
No longe will I be the butt of all jokes from family friends and colleagues 🙏🏼
Good riddance
You won't be missed😂👏
the treble was 1999, you're neither a supporter of Man U or Newcastle ...just an armchair fan who goes where the wind takes him...sadly, more and more plastics like you these days
Good choice. But please move towards the rear of the wagon to allow more Red Devils to come on board.
Their aim should be to avoid relegation!
I agree!Later we can think about somenting else
Once bruce goes they will climb the table
They definitely not getting relegated
The league just only beginning.. they had all the chances to climb up..
The French leagues are now panicking that Newcastle won’t be buying all their rejects.
Isolated in the NE of England might not be the most appealing move for Europe's elite.
IM A SUNDERLAND FAAN NEWCASTLE WILL BE THE BEST TEAM IN THE WORLD
You ain't a sunderland fan then
One of the best..City n Psg not yet won the Champs lge
As a Man United fan l can assure all Sunderland supporters who thought it couldn't get any worse, it can and it will. My advice.......dig a hole and hide👍
But the good news is St James Park is just “next door”. The new owners will not hold the old alliances against new fans.
😆😆
Money is not eventing. My opinions
Newcastle never comes to m city lever because of the so many strong teams. Only good thing about Newcastle fans are great 👍
This is gonna out so much pressure on Newcastle lol 😂 they better stay up
Newcastle fans. Do u realize that when mansour took over city, it took years to build a good squad and not just in 1 transfer window. Mansour bought city in 2008 and didn't win the league until 2012. It is not gonna be like the £500 million boost like in career mode. You will sign decent players but let's face it, you aren't gonna sign someone like Haaland.
Fact is, Newcastle's new Owners are about 20 times (++) richer than Mansour. And the Fact that Newcastle has been financially stable on had profits just about every single season means FFP cant do anything about Newcastle going out in January and spending upwards of 500 million pounds if they like.
@@hestekadaver ok then who do u think they will buy
@@poopooman6969 we buying whomever suits our project
@@gospellikanyi9156 well considering you got Bruce in charge you'll probably get Benteke
@@poopooman6969 Bruce is going out
They are richer than messi and ronaldo will ever be 😭😭
Obviously
I've got more than them
@@harrykane9770 yeah, obvioushly.
What
Its an entire country's wealth...
I'm not in favor of foreign ownership. But if that is the case we will get behind them and push us to the top. The people and the city deserve it.
Is there a tip EPL club owned by a person of British origin, or a company originating in England?
Depends if you think of Spurs being a Top EPL club.
@@matthewcoombs3282
Hard to call a club a “top club” when they haven’t won a thing in my life
Sure
They are in London
Have a few players who are worth 100 mil or about
But…they are not a top club
Only Man U, LFC and Arsenal can claim to be a top club on History
And LFC is still a top club
Man U are sort of there, this year
If you can't win it, buy it. It's no longer a sport.
Get with the times, football clubs are nothing more than billionaires toys now. Don’t cry about it
1993 called they want their game back
it's been that way as far as i can remember
J Cronin the teams spending the most have always had the success. If you look back 100 years ago it was the same. Only romantic delusions have you imagining something else, get a grip
@@Beyond_Belief534 Use your brain if you can find it. It's where the money is coming from that is the issue. If a club builds it success over decades of decent internal business models then it deserved success. In this case its human rights abusers just buying attention and success at the flick of a switch. Best of luck with the brain search dude......😉
Haters keep hating - Newcastle are the ballers. Toon army 😍
We have deep pockets and can buy anyone - City fans hahahaha
@Joe Bloggs we are one of the biggest clubs in England mate, and the best fans in the world.
@Joe Bloggs what's the criteria for a big club?
@Joe Bloggs they will next season. It has nothing to do with how big you think a club is.
Those players are prem players, that's why they stayed up
@Joe Bloggs like the last couple of seasons? So they stayed up when they bought hardly anyone and now they can get a few players in Jan they will go down? They will change manager and stay up. Even if they did go down it would only put their plan back by a year.
@Joe Bloggs a manager can do that, easily. All they need is a decent CB and a couple of midfielders. Do you realise that Wilson is injured?
Future managers that proven at City and won Prem League - Roberto Mancini or Manuel Pellegrini next Newcastle managers
it's crazy how much money the owners are worth, and people thought psg city were rich
A Newcastle fan has just called man city ....wait for it "OIL CITY " 🤣
that's how thick these Newcastle fans are.
Where do they think their money is coming from?
A chocolate factory?🤣
"A newcastle fan" so one fan represents the whole fan base? You're the only thick one around here mate.

For Newcastle, it is a great day, the same way it was a great day for Manchester City, Chelsea and PSG.
“The reason why I say it is not a great day for football is that it brings in a new situation where hyperinflation will come to pass because Newcastle will come in with owners who have £320 billion.
a state that is widely believed to have had a journalist murdered, that routinely sentences its critics to be flogged, where torture is commonplace, women’s rights extremely limited and homosexuality illegal, is taking over a Premier League football club.
It’s not state owned
Well and honest mate. Your in the devil. Just as the rest of us .
go ask mike ashley to buy your aston villa club instead..wait, no body interested in your club anyway, not even mike ashley
