I bet it gets really dull having to do this multiple times a day, but even more so when shit just doesn't work, and you have to break character and routine just to carry on. The actors deserve major praise for dealing with this.
AWAREDIAGRAM 680 Not when they're making minimum wage and zero recognition. I promise you they hate this shit; it's like one level above doing porn, in terms of a career.
I bet they love it. They do get praise... There are hundreds of their videos of people having an amazing time. Oh I'm an actor on a multi million dollar set and I get to ride a hey ski all day.
It’s interesting they decided to cut the show early and launched the plane. It seemed the entire cast wasn’t on the same page, so someone back stage called the show and thats why the guy was waving his hands to check. Great improv, but the show couldn’t have moved on without the jet ski scene, they did good though. Especially because the effects people were able to queue up in sync with his improv, which is pretty interesting. Shows will always fail. I find the bloopers more interesting lol
The fails, in order of appearance (I had to guess on some): 1. Pyrotechnics fail to go off for the big explosive finale 2. Not sure what happens, actually; someone falls in the water off-cue? 3. Jetski mechanical issues 4. Jetski collides with dock 5. Bee swarm 6. Water skier splashes down flat on his ass 7. Jet ski fails to appear, Atollers forced to improvise 8. Plane fails to appear 9. Atoller doesn't swing the way he's supposed to 10. Jetski once again fails to appear 11. Boat collides with dock as Deacon's actor introduces the C-list celebrities who frequent this show 12. Someone from the audience jumps into the water, swims over to the dock, and decides to play the part of a Smoker by pointing the gatling gun at Mariner 13. Mariner's jetski has engine trouble, and the Deacon keeps things going by trusting the stage manager and giving everyone what they came to see: the plane crash 14. The Deacon's boat collides with the dock, forcing a Smoker to bring him in on his jetski
The actors do a great job improvising, but everything feels off when there's no music to back them up. Like a fight without gunshot noises, or an entrance without the grand villain tune.
For the massive fail at 8:54, they did a great job keeping the show going. The actor did great improv given the situation and the stage manager did an outstanding job reading the unspoken intentions of The Deacon and coordinating the special effects to bring the show to a successful enough close and achieving the seaplane entry. Anyone know what happened to The Mariner actor?
This movie was better than Star Wars and Lord of the Rings combined. It’s a shame the public didn’t appreciate this masterpiece and it never get 10 sequels as a result. At least the stunt show reminds us of what we’re missing.
Aside from the plane or a cast member getting hurt, I think most of the time the audience can't even tell something is off or going wrong. That's in thanks to all the sound and action that is going on.
Okay you've literally been going on waterworld issue videos and talking about how much it sucks. Is this what you actually do with your time? Waterworld was probably the best show at uni so I mean
so glad to see I made this compilation...when I drove the boat into the dock at 7:33. 😂😂😂 memories. best Job ever
"From 'I Just Learned How to Drive a Boat:'" Yikes! xD
Epic and even more the co-workers seeing it and just busted out laughing lol.
Mariner: accidentally crashes boat
Deacon: *FROM “I JUST LEARNED HOW TO DRIVE A BOAT”*
😂😂😂😂 7:22

Lord Krythic Improvisation is an actor's best tool

Looks like they love it.
The “diversion” improv line was clever for the missing jet skiers at 3:38.
100%
5:00 he missed an opportunity to say "You wrecked my invisible sea plane!"
The guy at 1:14 with the Disneyland poncho on is the true hero here. 😂

a BEE swarm?? :O
BNSF1995 u
Yep it is
2) There should be an explosion, but there isn't
I had the plane fail during my visit as well

"Please come back, I'll be your best friend." I love that😂😂
hello ranboo pfp
11:11 "Nothing's working right today!"
2:26 That was scary I've never seen this bee swarm in my entire trip at Universal Hollywood.

Jet Ski Technical Difficulties.
I think he was the best Deacon actor I've seen; I wish he continued to do this role more. I believe he stopped in 2011
@@taylorm7777 he passed away a few years ago. He was the best and funniest deacon

The fucking bee swarm lmaooo
The dude who swam on set that was real cute

if there is any problems the only can do is just improvise that's what i was told to do
Nice videos
I subsribed
I was once there when after the breach in the wall the engine on the jet ski popped so they just had to swim
When the soundtrack cutout I think that was the cringiest one! Lmao
Yeah, but I gotta commend the Deacon for carrying that silence. Shit much be hard when things malfunction, esp the sound.
Does anyone know if WaterWorld is still at Universal to this date??
Yup still there
Yup it’s still there.
Emily Vlogs It's still there but when I went there a few months ago, it was closed down for refurbishing
It better still be there. The day that’s gone is the day I stop going there
Yes
hahahaha, and i work here...
What was going on on 6:16
helens boat stopped working. they had to stop cause it needs to move for the next scenes.
Yeah The jet ski would have jumped straight into it if it was left there
Not seeing it. At all.
This was the worst show they ever did. I know because I was there. They need new actors who know what they're doing.
You are just a negative nancy aren't you? Would you like to try being a stuntman in the show? Perhaps you can do it better
Austin Bello - I absolutely could do it better.

This show looks as bad as the movie.
Then why you watching this then lol
