And one more question those new Grey Thar and Red Thar are 2023 models. Are equipped with MLD? Because Mahindra is option for mHawk engines in the brochure.
Jimny needs more hp & torqure. Car worth 17lakh having 103hp is ridiculous. 3 door jimny would've performed better but 5 door is heavier with same power & torque, thats why its not good enough. Waiting for 5 door Thar.
17 lakhs bro don just consider top model there are lower models as well in my state it is available from 13.9 on road base model And top is around 16.45
Actually 5 door jimny has 4nm more torque than 3 door jimny lol... In an SUV, the power to weight ratio matters, and Jimny has sufficient power for climbing this obstacle. However, due to 5-door Jimny's long wheelbase, its Rampover angle/Breakover angle is reduced, causing it to get stuck on such obstacles. The 5-door Thar will likely have a long wheelbase as well, which could result in a lower rampover angle. In such conditions, larger tires & lift kits are often used to increase the rampover angle.
Which is. Better amongst thar diesel manual or automatic for offroading @ anshuman bishnoi ? Also does all current generation thars come with MLD or some specific year models??
Hey one question. Since you are a hardcore offroader , why dont you go for the BF Goodriches on your thar which is much more superior than these MRF’s , CEAT’s etcc
This is awesome video. However, I have noticed those Thars including your's, brake light are lighted up while driving on obstacles. Is that because of ABS or BLD working on it? 🙂
That's BLD .......why would ABS be working.....ABS starts to work when you're braking ( you'll feel the brake pedal flutter ) and in BLD the car is braking on selective wheels
Our car builds are focused on Desert driving, that's where we use our cars and if the car has to be stopped there every 5-10 mins to cool down it doesn't work for us. Tried on 3 different cars multiple times.

Correction: Jimny's Brake LSD works well in Automatic trans as compared to manual. If you want to buy Jimny for offroad purpose then automatic jimny is the best option.
@@Anshyuman But Jimny's auto trans can work like a manual. You can drive the Jimny like a manual, in first gear or second or third gear as per your requirement. This is very useful while offroading as you do not need to use the clutch but you can still use first or second or third gear as per your requirement.. And one thing I've noticed that Jimny's Brake LSD works well in auto trans.. But auto trans ain't good on highways. For offroading, auto is good and for highways, manual is good.

Jimny ka LSD (BLD) automatic version me achha kaam karta hai. Manual me bahut stall hoti h jimny.
Automatic gearbox is poor. Brake traction control works the same but the AT gearbox is bad no tiptronic

pwr is even not adequate for 3 doors....it is worsts... seen video whn car stalls by its own due to over load kind of situations

BFG are too heavy and dont really have any extra traction on these surfaces. I have BFG on my other car. 5-7kgs heavier per tyre

No problems with Petrol Thar. For Diesel use antifreeze, even Diesel works fine.

Jimny also has brake traction control, BLD is the same thing with a different name copied from Jeep
