Very Rusty Air impact wrench Perfect Restoration - Awesome Restoration

  • This video you're watching is a restoration of a rusty air impact wrench that has been abandoned in an old junk shop!
A few days ago, a rusty air-impact wrench that was discarded in a secondhand store at a low price.
I bought it, and I'm filming this restoration video.
I'm gonna use an ultrasound washing machine to clean the dirty parts.
I washed it by mixing baking soda with hot water.
Parts such as internal cylinders and blades are cleaned and processed to new parts.
    I made it.
Parts with uneven surfaces are evened by sandblasting.
I worked on it with black coloring and fixed the broken bearing and played it again.
The aluminium case is made of a simple low temperature aluminium weld where the hole is made.
I've finished sanding and polishing. But I couldn't even pick out all the sides.
The deep holes in the aluminum casing couldn't be stopped.
If you sand them, the casing will become thinner, so you can use a little bit of it.
    I'm done with it's over.
I was so happy after the restoration and the test.
I loved the post-work test performance!
Please understand that the surface of the aluminum case is not perfectly even!^^

I used czcams.com/users/postUgkx4ynqaujg7rZKFapA8s29kTpRszJGa3-K this for the first time today to replace the front wheel bearing on my rwd 98 dodge dakota. This had absolutely no issue removing or reinstalling the lug nuts and it took off the axle nut without any struggle. Sounds like it's got some muscle to it. Time will tell

Every detail matters! You have perfected the beauty aspect, but the heart was left lacking! Those bearings were truly beyond repair, and even from temporary standpoint, they should have at least been packed with grease. Also without seals, they won't last long and may even fly apart at high RPM.

Packing bearings with grease, getting engines going, pulling a new differential out of a box, heat expanding ring gears, power washing an engine block, setting cylinder sleeves. Does this guy know his stuff or what?!!!
He deserved that fruit at the end.
    Good work, boss. God bless.

I wonder how well it will work as you are removing material with sanding ect. Making your tolerances larger than original. I would guess maybe a slight loss of power.

The attention to detail is amazing. Even using a needle file to make it perfect.
