I have said this before, but the one thing I love about your videos is how natural they are. No contrived situations or set up scenarios. I also respect how you don't make this a chore or burden for your children. Just do your own thing, as you have always done and I will be here watching.

Not only do I think this is super admirable of you to be so upfront about, I also think it’s a good idea to gradually pivot the channel into more of a focus on you, whether you’re interacting with the family or friends or on your own. The conversation of “using” kids for content has been a hot button issue for a long time, I’ve always seen you as somewhat of an exception to that problem because of how respectful you are with your kids and their boundaries, as well as the fact it’s incredibly clear that Saylor loves her time on camera. However, that love may change in future, and I think this is a great thing to address now not only for the sustainability but also the morality of your channel moving forward, so you don’t feel pressured into including family content when it feels more appropriate to experience as a personal moment disconnected from your viewers. Wish you the best with whatever you do and myself and many others will keep coming back no matter what.

No need to apologize. There are so many family channels out there that are so fake, the kids are forced to do things just for content, views and likes, and we know how that turns out (Daddy of Five, The ACE family, etc) That’s why I’m careful of what family channels I follow. You don’t need to go down that rabbit hole to try to please everyone. ❤
I understand there's this enormous pressure from the algorithm, to constantly post. But as a viewer, I've never really felt like, I need to see something every week. It's normal for the audience to wax and wane. As a viewer, sometimes you lose interest or you get busy and don't check the channel. Sometimes you come back and watch the whole backlog. Sometimes you're waiting for the upload. It's always in flux, it's always changing. You're right, you can't make everybody happy. Don't sweat it. Peace and love from San Diego.
