Lol Tower of Dawn was originally just supposed to be a novella, but SJM wrote way more than she expected and it just turned into a full length novel 😂

Yes, Legendborn is kinda information overload-i would not read that book if you’re in a slump. But PLEASE give it another chance because Bloodmarked was a five star book for me-SO worth getting through the first book for the second one!!
Took me FOREVER to read Legendborn. I read a book in between reading it.

it’s a little bit confusing at first but after you’re introduced to the world & the characters it really picks up

Fortunately I read the ballad of never knowing it was gonna be a trilogy. I can't imagine reading the second book and thinking that was the ending😢
Throne of Glass is my favourite series, I'm so glad you loved it!
And I'm genuinely so happy to hear when anyone tries it. It's a really big undertaking but I think it's worth it. The characters are amazing, they grow so much over the series. I implore anyone willing, to read these books (and if you didn't like the first few, please keep going at least until Queen of Shadows because that book is probably one of the best books I've ever read)
10000% agree. Queen of shadows just makes the series a lot more intricate and feels like you get deeper into the world. I’m on book 6 rn but its still such a good series!
Legendborn is actually phenomenal like the plot twists were insaneee! Definitely should pick it up again

My mom and I are reading each others favorite books I have to read Pride & Prejudice and my mom has to read The Song of Achilles
I also went into a huge fantasy reading slump after Kingdom of Ash! I wanted to read another fantasy, but any book I read after KOA didn’t compare. I ended up reading a thriller after to help me get out of that little slump
how hard is it to talk about ToG without spoilers, right? you literally can't mention any names!!! 😅 thank god I never tried filming reading vlogs on it, you are brave, Des!

Aelin is my favorite book character ever. I don’t know if it’s because I spent so many books with her but following her journey, read and seen what’s my mind’s played as I read the books and all the sacrifice that she’s been through just breaks my heart and building it back up and repeat. Just love love her.

The only reason people were upset with ToD is cause we had to wait a year (I think) after the cliff hanger of EoS and she brought that one out then another year for KoA. That’s why people are sour but I loved it! It has one of my fave characters in it. I think it is a great book, long but it kept me hooked 😂
I’m like 280 pages in and finding it so slow but people like you saying it’s long but good and the characters are good makes me keep going 😎💪

the way my jaw DROPPED when you dnf'ed legendborn, i'd definitely recconend giving it another try but i get that it was probably v difficult to get through after binging an entire fantasy series :)
I was in reading slump, but was still reading and for some of the books I read I looked up playlists for them and now it's one of my most favorite things to do while reading. Like a playlist that immerses you even more so into the story 😍😍

i read the ballad of never after the day it came out, so i didn’t know if a third book was coming, and descended into pure agony
You should really start the FBAA series next!!! It’s so good and the fifth book ( I believe it’s the fifth) comes out this year!!! I’m very hopeful you’ll love it!!! If you end up not liking the first book please don’t stop reading the series because the second is even better!!!❤
I definitely agree with the character from Tower of Dawn! That character didn't need a redemption arc IMO. I understood why the character did what they did.

Just a note for everyone - you really don’t have to tandem read these books to enjoy Throne of Glass! I actually wouldn’t recommend it because Tower of Dawn is a good book but you just need to give it more time and energy because it introduces so much new stuff in comparison to Empire of Storms! ❤️

What order are you reading the throne of glass series because I want to start the series but when I look up the reading order I get so confused I just give up😢
@@paytonwitcher6854 When in doubt, I would always try to just read them in the order they were published. That works just fine.
@@paytonwitcher6854 I read the first 4, then assassins blade and then the next 3 (I’m reading tower of dawn and empire of storms separate. (I recommend reading throne of glass first and then assassins blade any time before empire of storms because there’s a few references of it in EoS)

The Kingdom of the Wicked trilogy is sooooo good. You should definitely try listening to the audiobooks for all of them!
I’ve listened to Never Finished!! I really liked it! the audio book was so good
