Classic Steven went through many hardships when he was still so young. So many accusations went to his side yet he wasn't his mom.
Corruption is a cool theory....but it's super sad to see Adult Steven suffer even further.
Edit: I like how corrupt stevrn doesn't listen to classic steven.

I can explain what’s happening for ya! Steven currently is dealing with PTSD and not telling the crystal gems, causing the problems to only grow.
So Steven, after Connie rejects his offer to marry him (rightfully so), it only gets worse, soon, he can’t control his emotions, and glows pink (he does that when he’s frustrated or upset, which boosts up his strength and power), and he soon gets corrupted
Once again, this is only a theory and it’s not canon!

It's sad that he has been left behind and even rejected by his sole mate and he gave up on his friends so he resorted to talking to his dad but hes even not there at the moment so instinct is to talk to you're mom as a Male teen but I know because I lost my mom at a young age he has no one to run to
Yeah, no one can really blame him for not telling anyone in the first place either, he just started feeling like this and everyone was busy, not to mention the fact that in SU no one ever really talked about his feelings only their own pretty much.

I feel like I relate to Steven on an emotional level. He bottles things up for so long, and then let’s them all out in anger, which he knows is unhealthy, not to mention that he feels he only exists for others, never caring for himself.

Literally I listen to this song anytime too much stuff is happening and I can’t get over all the terrible things that my past it reminds me that when the people around me who are trying to support me tell me that they love me and that they’re here for me that they actually mean it in that I’m not alone and that even when I feel like I am I will go down throughout life finding more people who love me that I don’t even know about yet and I feel like it fits perfectly for your current Steven like YOU DID AMZING Illustrating this and I applaud you for combining these.
