next time not only backup your data.... completely erase and format the hard drive..... its possible you still have some sensitive data left on ur old one..... advise from a geek

there are software you can use to permanently wipe out your data.
+(▀̿Ĺ̯▀̿ ̿) what software it is?
yup. the hdd just renders the space usable but the files are still there. You need to use a special software to really wipe the drive but if you wanna make sure just crush the HDD including the discs inside.
They can retrieve you files from the day you bought it. I'm using a software that works like that. You can trade in your old laptop but don't give away the hard drive..

Your video editing skills has improved significantly! I was surprised though that you had to trade in your old laptop. I thought you would just breeze in a mall and just buy a new laptop from an Apple Store or wherever. It's nice though because you're showing that you're really down to earth and you're not adverse to saving money here and there. I do agree with some of the people here though that it was really risky to trade in a gadget where you probably stored private information. Not to freak you out or anything, but I hope there's nothing there that you would be ashamed for the whole world to see, if you get my drift. Since you're a celebrity, you're more vulnerable to these kind of things.

In the midst of all these worried comments, it's kinda refreshing to see that you're not one of those materialistic people who always buy & go crazy over the latest models of gadgets or even clothes. I really thought that you would just buy a brand new laptop but then voila...you really surprised me when you just traded in your old laptop for a new one. Lady, you really are full of surprises, haha! You are SIMPLE but you ROCK!!! Do us a favor please & just buy a brand new laptop or gadget next time so we don't have to worry like this for you, haha!
