Honestly not a bad strategy. If their primary method of hunting is hearing, then sound pollution and playing loud noises over warning systems or radios would probably disrupt them. Unless they can discern much quieter sounds under loud ones.

Theoretically, if they’re that sensitive to sound, you can neutralize their ability to detect humans with Thunderbolt sirens. There is a chance that level of sound will kill them.

if the source of the warning is only attracted to light / frequencies however, use the battery powered radio.

Just two nitpicks: 1. An Emergency Alert wouldn’t apologize for interrupting a broadcast, time is of the essence and it would be vital to get the information out as quickly as possible. 2. The deep voiced used for the first alert is too low and distorted to the point where he becomes too unintelligible to make sense as an EAS voice. (Had a few more but it seemed others have mentioned them already) Other than that, it was a pretty fun watch! It’s a unique take on the whole “A Quiet Place” invaders who hunt through sound. Liked.

I like the atmosphere and the static, although I think you could use a more coherent speech dialogue, particularly a real voice here to make it seem more realistic and dreaded.

So, what if the creature enters your house, and you have to house phones. Remember that, okay?
The thing slowly walks around your house… it entered through the addic, you hear the window open, you should be okay, as the addic entrance (not window) goes in to your garage… the door to it is locked. Then, you hear what sounds like a lock being picked. “Oh god…” you think, but you remember that you’re in your basement. It walks slowly, you can hear its muffled breathing. You hear the creature pick something up, but you don’t know what the thing is. You look at the table next too you, it’s much too dark to see the thing on top of it. You then hear the most terrifying sound of your life, your *phone…* the screaming of the creature and the banging on the door to your basement makes you want to cry, but you can’t. If you do, the creature will know your location, it’s dark so you still have a chance. The creature breaks through, you are left waiting hoping god decides that it’s not your day to go… But, you feel a drop, a tear drop. A gasp for air echoes all through the basement, immediately alerting the creature of your location. You don’t see one creature,not two, but three. You know your fate is sealed when one of the pairs of glowing eyes makes contact. You where only 11… you die a slow, painful death, making you wish you where never alive in the first place….
