Nearell you should listen to their two ep's everyone that dragged you here and put yourself back to together and their debut album maybe this place is just the same and where just changing.

It sounds like some shitty pop alt-rock album that gets put out today. Their older stuff was better and didn't all sound the same. This sounds different because it's so shitty compared to their old stuff.

Edit: also there last album didnt sound like their roots to me, it was more 90s midwestern emo and indie rock sound than pop punk, when i think of their roots i think of their 3 ep's and debut album.
Maybe I was a bit harsh, this is growing on me but it's still too polished for my taste. I like the original Real Friends best. The EPs and the first album.
