"I was too weak to watch your last breath" hits right in the chest. Lost my Dad in 2013, my Grandmother in 2021, and my Mom in 2022. At this point in my life, it feels like everything was taken from me and It's so hard to cope with the loss of the most important people in my life. I just feel numb and I forgot what it feels like to be truly "Happy". Whoever you are, and if you're going through it right now, I hope you find peace.
In the last twelve years, I’ve lost my mom, stepdad and brother. This song speaks volumes and I just miss them everyday.

I almost lost my ex to coma but she woke up from the hospital and I did see her. She did leave me and then years and years later my dad died in his sleep. My worlds has never been the same fighting it alone with all this pain.

It’s been a couple of months since my oldest dog has past and seeing the area where her and her daughter used to live in, get torn down. It’s sad because of the memories that is embed in those walls. Was hard seeing her take her last breath but I’m glad she’s in the ether now. One day I’ll get to see them, including my one eyed dog, again.

This one hurts. I lost my dad when I was 18 to aggressive prostate cancer. I couldn’t stay in the room in the final moments either. Seeing someone who was so strong their whole life being so weak and vulnerable was too much for me. Not a day goes by that I don’t think of him and wish that I could tell him about my day. I lived with him and spent almost every day with my him and my nanny. And even though I did all that, my biggest regret is not going back to be with him.
