Jeff, I like how seriously you take games. You always are a courteous driver and citizen in games and obey road laws when no one else does, even in simulators. Even the Real Civil Engineer guy didn't obey road laws in the game, he cut a car off, sped around a corner, deviated from his lanes, etc.
I worked in asphalt maintenance, they are missing the long nights of welding, cleaning, greasing all the equipment. That is the best part of the job.
What kind of fresh hell is this lol 😆 I'd expect to see this in Five M, guys out doing some random road work.
Game looks pretty good, I need VR if I'm going to really feel like a road worker. Lol
County works jobs like this are my favorite. I used to work for the county doing jobs like these and learned how to operate machines and all that.

Yeah, I've seen trees hanging out in the roadway worse. I've seen stop signs blocked by trees where they couldn't be seen and everything. The only vehicles that may have the slightest problem are semis and buses with getting hit by branches, but it isn't a massive problem anyway.
This game definitely would be better multiplayer, thank you for showcasing the game!
People have complained to me, when I park in a parking lot, far from the front door of a store. They usually want to park as close as possible to not walk far, even if it is full of cars. I didn't think I would see that to matter in a game, but the compulsion is the same.
Funny you talked about the Kansas race from this past weekend... The wife and I just flew home from Virginia, and I kept looking for any tracks and Kansas was the only one I saw..LOL
I've actually seen a street get repaved here in st.louis and it's pretty cool to see

this was cool. I am laughing at the roller you had to use. It is more for dirt packing than steam rolling. Have you heard anything about updates to this game where equipment and possibly free roaming maps might be added?
So you showed up to a road with an entire section of lane already missing, but it was your job to slowly and cumbersomely shut both lanes down, interesting.

I have several family members who work in the DOT (road maintenance, road construction etc.) and though this is a game, much of it is fairly accurate. Hopefully this game will expand to other aspects of DOT.
Have you played Power Washing Simulator? That would be a cool little series you could do. Maybe you and Dave could do a co-op playthrough of it.

I have to imagine that's lust laziness/a bug on behalf of the programmers, they only check if you are carrying something to reduce your speed when moving forward.

Bit ironic for someone who is so much into truck simulator you didn't realize that overhanging trees are a real nuisance trucks and busses, especially their mirrors😉
I enjoyed this game I thought I was pretty unique the only problem's I really had was navigation sometimes like I did not even know where I needed to go Plus washing the guard rails trying to stay in the middle where it wants me to for some reason I was just bouncing all over the place and it wasn't me doing it but I absolutely enjoyed the resurfacing the road going out doing the much more smaller jobs or two like picking up trash and whatnot I think this is a pretty good game they just need to work on some issues

I honestly love all the different simulator games that are created. Gives people something new that you wouldn’t think would be fun, like lawn mowing and power washing. But the games look so good and are so fun, I honestly love it

This game seems to lack npcs, that's clearly not a one man job. Should have given you a team of 5 and at least 3 of them drive the trucks.

You think AI fools with you Slamming brakes and spawning new cars so you cannot pull out well here is what happened to me today. I was on a long delivery today ending in Key Largo,FL and I got around 600 miles away and was cut off be a firetruck and stuck good under a store awning made from wood trailer too, then as I started to pull out this firetruck same one then pulls infront of me and stops I could not back up so I was nudging his truck he did not move I was pissed and ready to call for a tow and this jerk pulls away and heads down the road..

Funny. That's a base roller. Not an asphalt roller. I layed asphalt for years. This game is not very accurate by no means.
