I agree, Tossing weapons just like the old Smackdown & Smackdown vs RAW game is definitely one of the best features.
You could already toss weapons in Fight Forever (and catch them too), since last year.
Happy to see 2K recognized the greatness of this though.

I'm always doing that move I love making my wrestler go crazy jumping out of the ring or from the top rope and the crazy part is my wrestler is the shortest you can make them 5' 4" just getting in the ring I have to run
I hope they add the original Deadman Underaker. You know, black and purple from the early '90s.
That's a necessity, I mean 2K22 had him in there.
My favorite is the black and purple Taker but that's not his original Taker character. His original character wore black & gray. Than came the purple & black

The fact they added the showcase unlocker to the most expensive edition but then still don't allow for everything from the showcase to be unlocked.......what's the point of the unlockers then ????
I did a Kane vs HHH match and for some reason, Kane was shadow boxing in the ring as he waited for HHH to come out.. and it looked so goofy 😂

The last WWE game i truly enjoyed was SVR07 and have approached every game since with scepticism and hardly ever bought them,
But thanks to yoyr extensive coverage i gave this a chance and its awesome, still needs some improvements but its better than its been in a long time, and its been a long time since i played a WWE game from the last decade and enjoyed it,

I changed difficulty to easy on Rumble, chose Yokozuna and eliminated every superstar one after another with the drag to ropes and strong clothesline. Lol.
It took me at least 20 times to win that WrestleMania Royal Rumble. I literally won it on easy to get the rewards then went back to win it on legend without having to complete the elimination objectives.
I'm not sure how many times it took me, but I went with Drew McIntyre, but I kept on getting eliminated, so I've switched to Diesel & surprisingly, I've breezed through the Rumble on the 1st attempt after switching to Diesel.

I picked Roman and won it the first time on Legend.
Definitely took me at least like 30 tries. First 10 or so were with Undertaker until I realized his Royal Rumble finisher has a major reversal and is pretty slow. Then I tried with Shawn Michaels for another 10 or so tries because of his Superkick against the ropes, and then I ended up using Cody because he also has the Superkick and the Rage payback that gives you a finisher right away. Was successful with Cody after about 5 tries
As Stone Cold I won it the second time. The stunner stacks up quick in your meter and once they are stunned you can throw them out with just an Irish whip.
The fact that the minitrons on classic arenas aren’t animated as the wrestlers wrestle us so immersion breaking! It’s so simple to do!
I like that Cody's theme can be used everywhere now, and they gave a really good, updated entrance to use for a Kenny Omega CAW called "The Cleaner"
They've been having Omega's entrance. Along with his, Penta, & others entrances & taunts

Ok hear me out. A wwe game that's arcade-like in style, but with Matell figures that are scaled to size. Figures, chairs, tables, bells, all kinds of weapons to use at your disposal as well as your surrounding environment. Instead of a wrestling ring, you wrestle in an open area-like bedroom. Able to climb dressers, fans, guitars, computer chairs, computer desks etc with tables, ladders and weapons scattered throughout.
That would be pretty dope. Someone suggest it!
I spent money on these wrestling games since ps3, ps4, and Steam. It's not even worth buying these games if they still closing down the server and not fixing the bugs each time they release a new game.
Anybody else a little disappointed that certain moves don't make opponents lean against the ropes/corner this year? I always put Forearm Smash 8 on my CAW and it was helpful in putting opponents in the corner or against the ropes without having to use an irish whip or drag.

Fastest way to complete showcase is cracking up the attacker submission strength to full then just press RT/R2 + B and make then submit. I had brought 40 Y pack and it took 20-30 mnts to complete.
I think they may have a roman elite figure hidden too, there is an action figure in the background when the bump plays during my rise

Now we can have managers in many single and tag team matches that we couldn't last year, like ladder match and mixed tag team match.
Why won’t 2k add the crowd back into the empty seats near the stage area? We had it for 2k20, then it disappeared in subsequent versions. It would be a cool feature for those of us who like retro arenas.

For the Royal rumble at the end of the showcase, I did put it on easy and used triple H. What I did was I made sure to eliminate the first two entries quickly, and I just had to deal with one at a time for a while. The most I had in the rink was 4 at a time, including myself. It made it easy for me to win

I really wish they had a match from every WM in the showcase so you can unlock more superstars, attires and arenas.

21 was enough for me.
Everyone complained that there were less than half of the number from 2K14 but forget how awful it was to get through all of those matches back then, especially the ones that weren't really that great to begin with.
I hope they can add more. I want The Rock from Wrestlemania 15 and 16.
Thought Hogan vs Rock and Triple H vs Batista would of made the cut.

I used The Fiend, and I beat the rumble on the second try, but technically it was the first try because when it loaded the match I was spawned outside the ring and I lost immediately. That rumble was no joke though.

Playing the firefly funhouse match and rewatching it was so awesome. I think it was the best part of the showcase.

I feel like I had an easier time with showcase than most for some reason? I played on normal whole way through and only failed once due to me messing up the punt kick as Randy.
As for the the rumble I chose the undertaker (true king of WM no doubt) and played it safe, still though there was a lot of near falls with the ai.

I wish they made casket match like how it was in the old game, where you could move the casket anywhere in the ring and put but also lean anywhere would be a bonus, but the part where you have to do actual and any move and stuff to get your opponent in the casket and it’s a gamble even for yourself everytime you decide to open the casket.
When will they incorporate procedural animation and let us make tag entrances based on members? An example would be Hulk Hogan and Cody Rhodes. They would both have their entrances animations, except in a tag entrance.
I say this because creating individual animations for every possible combination would take ages and take up more space.
The lightning in WM 31 daytime arena is broken on pc.. No shadows😢

Great video, I have to admit, I played the entire showcase mode on easy just to unlock the wrestlers so I'd have them for my GM mode. The one thing that seems to be lacking in this game is match customization like being able to make a match elimination which I love like you. In last years game I could create my own survivor series match but not in this one, Kind of a bummer but I do love the game overall.
You can create 3-4-5-6 man matches as elimination under extreme rules. But if you try to do this in hiac, no go
lol I used to play WCW VS NWO on 64 and play SMACKDOWN 2 whenever I created a wrestler on smackdown I’d play the Wolfpack song in the back ground lmao that’s dope it’s finally in the game
And there is special reversal for some superstar like when you are playing with KO and reverse a superplex he will do the fisherman slam thing, and I also found out that Ivar can do his handspring when he reverse a rebound attack

If you are Ludwig Kaiser and have Gunther as a manager this will trigger a special entrance as well. Ludwig will be standing there with a mic and pretty much introduces Gunther.
The entrance for Bray and Cena is actually already there as one of the Free Bird entrances.
The fastest way to the crimson match is split them open first then start throwing weapons this speeds up the process.
I agree with the infinite stamina for that RR match, I can't chain attacks and defend from multiple angles without getting gassed and whipped out of the ring.

Wrestlemania 31 is my favorite arena period
I beat the rumble on the 3rd attempt. I used HBK. Funny thing is, the first two losses, both times I got eliminated by Rollins who came in at like 24. Both times right as I eliminated someone, he ran and clotheslined me over the top. The 3rd time I had a super kick waiting for him.
Online title matches are pretty cool when servers are working
how are servers on 2k24? i’m still stuck on 2k23 and the online is still unplayable almost 100% of the time
@user-vs5bc1rq4n tbh they are way better than 2k23 I am able to finish majority of my online matches on 24. I get a crash here and there but not alot. Fingers crossed but I haven't had the Irish whip crash yet either with multi man matches.
I had to play it 4x with taker before I got the hang of getting my 10 eliminations and just chilled
There's quite a few champion specific cool entrances. Rhea and Dom have one as long as Rhea has a title.
what’s also broken for me on ps5 & my friend experienced on ps4 is in universe mode…
I usually have my settings on hold button on for submission mini gameplay instead of rapid tapping but the rules randomly turn on & off every other match in a event you play whether Raw, SDL or PLE’s

The only thing they need to add next year is Tag Team Turmoil. I have wanted this for a while now and they now have the means to do it.
I wish they'd add nitro stage to create an arena so we could do an updated version. Also would love to have create a show where we can go in & set up matches for raw, Smackdown, ppv & have mini achievements or options to progress the storyline. But we set up all matches for every show, also pyro openings to the show
Pro tip for the rumble match in showcase use HBK and grapple people to the ropes and use a finisher

I recommend using Cody. He also has the Superkick as a Rumble finisher, and he gets the Rage payback unlike Shawn so that you can get a finisher whenever you wanna activate it.
When you look at the purchasables, Nash and Hall are in black NWO shirts, but, they are in Outsiders gear on the character select screen and when played.

So and create an entrance I'm trying to look at lighting options music options and motion options. it won't let me go down in a row just previewing each one I have to select then exit out and then start all over from the top. Is there a way to just preview each one like in the past games or did 2K mess this up too?
I've played on Easy & the Wrestlemania Royal Rumble was still challenging, even got frustrated a few times. If I was to pass any advice, use someone like Diesel & the Rumble would be a bit more easier.
Love your vids. I thought of something these games need a tab or bookmark on CC. You leave and come back to a hundred pages of creations. The srarch feature is great but not foolproof

They need to patch in mr socko and also for ladder tag title matches if you select one belt only one belt is above the ring not two

I tried doing the ring break last year with Vader and Andre and couldn’t do it. So they need to add the OMG Moments back for that and the barricade breaks.

You can also get special commentary if you use bray Wyatt nwo in the wcw arena

Throwing Weapons 2k24 - It's all I do.
Samantha also does a special introduction for Ludwig Kaiser like she does on tv.
We should have free standing moves along with running ones when an opponent is grounded.
