I try to work out regularly, but I've just gone 5 days with running to catch the bus as my only cardio. I always work out after watching your videos, especially when Kelli shows a bit of skin because I'm like "damn she grew more muscle mass again, need to catch up!" Your short motivational videos help too. All of that to say, thank you for pushing me to get my workout done!
These are some of my favorite exercises and my go-to moves when I want a challenging workout but don’t have a lot of time. If you push yourself and lift a weight that challenges your own strengths, you should be huffing and puffing as if you were doing a full blown cardio workout. Compound movements are an amazing way to get the most benefit in the least amount of time. They allow you to target both upper and lower body simultaneously, and call heavily upon the core muscles, helping you build coordination and control over your own body. More like this one please! Total body strength using dumbells for 10-20 minutes. I like to combine this one with a 15 minute fat burning cardio. Can't seem to find many similar to this one.

This short workout along with Daniel's quick 4 min warmup and I've at least accomplished something today after being sick with a cold. I didn't do a 30-40 min workout as usual, but at least I moved my body some today!
Nice, complete, short routine. Some alignment concerns though, especially the sumo squat + tricep extension, too much for the spine, Kelli was clearly forcing hers during that exercise. The tall plank fly was quite aggressive to the spine too. I think compound exercises can be a "false economy", it's better to focus properly on one exercise than trying to do too much at the same time. I followed this routine modifying a lot.
Great 10 minute full body workout! It is very useful for people who don't have time to go to the gym or have a tight schedule. This kind of exercise allows you to work on speed and agility. It also helps you develop strength of your muscles and improve your balance.

Great workout for a monday! I used a pair of 0.5 L water bottles as weights, did jumping jacks during all of the 'rest' intervals and instead of the last tall plank fly I did a set of 40 push ups. #sweatfest #workoutcomplete

i think Daniel should do a total body strenghttraining video .I saw the kettlebell videos and the one with the sandbag but never with dumbells or maybe i overlooked it with some many videos. It would be interesting to see what he has for us it probably gonna hurt lol.

Hi. I'm not aiming to be a major league body builder or anything, but strength training is great for weight loss. I was curious if working my way up to and stopping at 15 lb dumbbells will inhibit new muscle growth or cause my strength to deteriorate? Thanks:-)
The motto is usually push your self as the stronger you get the increase in weight. But if you need to just tone up as they say, do more reps(12, 15, 20......) without increasing the weight. So you might end up needing to do more reps than the 8/10 range.
I have to do the last exercise (full plank fly) without my weights and only use my arm weight to get through it. Can't even do one rep with my weights!
Kelly is there any modifications to get a comparable workout like this without the weights? I know I can just skip on them, but it is too easy for me that way. My apptm is too small to store them plus I can't invest in weights right now. I'm trying to build lower body muscle, but it's difficult without weights. Any advice?Thanks
+Luana Mendes Get creative! I've heard of people using bags of books, gallon jugs filled to meet strength needs, bottles of wine, etc, etc. Even without any weight, you can always make things a lot harder by focusing on contracting the muscles or working "against" yourself. Hope this helps!

+sarah Do the 5 lb weights feel challenging for you? If not, you may want to invest in heavier weights. Strength training is one of the best ways to get really great, relatively easy-to-maintain, longterm results. Make sure you're eating a diet of whole, unprocessed foods. Regarding cellulite, exercise and a good diet can definitely help but I recommend trying not to overanalyze or pick your body apart by minor flaws (most of us have cellulite, it's just that magazines and most fitness sites airbrush it out) - just aim for good health and you will love the results. I follow mostly Fitnessblender workouts and I tend to eat around 2500 to 3000 calories a day, I'm rather short too!
