All it takes to realize that the RNR Hall of Fame is a sad pathetic joke is to listen to this one performance. Tell me that Squeeze is not the very embodiment of audio excellence.
I've been watching this performance on CZcams for years, it is probably my favorite lineup of talented musicians playing tempted with Glenn Tilbrook and the amazing saxophonist David Sanborn who sadly died today. We will definitely be missing him. RIP David Sanborn
this is a brilliant live performance. So nice to hear performers singing and playing their instruments live and sounding amazing...shout out to Hiram Bullock on guitar!
Just when you think CZcams cant get any better you stumble upon another Masterpiece like this Glenn Tilbrook and one of the greatest sax players ever- Fantastic!!!! Thanks
No Paul Carrack on lead vocal or keyboards here, but wow, this is a fantastic version with Glenn Tilbrook doing all the vocals, the great late George Duke on the Hammond B-3 organ, David Sanborn on sax, and all of Squeeze in 1987. Thank you for sharing this gem of a post!
Wow, that just blew my mind. Paul Carrack (How Long Has This Been Goin On?) turned it into a smooth jazz song when he sang it - I love smooth jazz - but Glenn Tilbrook ripped it in genuine Squeeze fashion. Fantastic.

David Sanborn somehow made a perfect song reach new heights. What an incredibly talented man he was. RIP good sir
"I fumble for the clock, alarmed by her seduction" is a killer line.
Rest in peace, David Sanborn 🎷
Level of talent here is immense.
No one can sing it like Paul Carrak, BUT on this particular performance Tillbrook sings it AMAZINGLY. What a brilliant take of this incredible song.
One of the best songs ever..period
Great performance by Glenn. He leaves it all on the stage.
Best version of this beautiful masterpiece. The sultry sax really adds. RIP David.

Glenn's voice is what vocals should sound like! LOVE HIM!
Probably the best version of that song by Squeeze !!!! Awesome 👏

Geez this band was good. Really good.
An all-star cast on this one. I'm just discovering what a great talent Glenn Tilbrook is on vocals and guitar.
