I found out a method the first day I got mine and it was kind of like this, but you get 4 colors on 1 side, and the other pair of two right by it, then you insert it in and turn it out. That was probably very confusing for anyone reading this.
There's not just a series of algorithms. A lot of it is "intuitive" and so it's more about connecting pieces instead of just memorizing movements. What are you confused about?
