I was there that night. THE best gig I've ever been to. Freddie was the master, the best front man any band ever had.
So, so, so nice to see someone giving John Deacon credit like that. He was the best.
Great to hear Robert finally being given credit too!
I know right. Freddie my hero, Deaky my crush.
He IS the best
Thank you for this. It's a masterclass on how 4 very different people hold 72000 people in the palm of their hands!
And Freddie smiles ... and the sadness kicks in. RIP.
To think that after these 2 Wembley gigs, Freddie would only play one more, at Knebworth. RIP Freddie (my hero)
In all Reactions of Queen, Roger Taylor never gets high praises for his magnificent vocal abilities!
I totally agree - Roger is a fantastic vocalist in his own right .
Freddie Mercury GOAT ❤️❤️❤️
OK I'm old, I saw Queen live 5 times, even at this Concert in 1986. I suggest you watch them at Live Aid, to this day it's the largest concert ever held. It was in aid to raise money for the Ethiopian Famine in the early 1980's. I was in the Royal Marine Commandos working in a Refugee Camp at the time, we listened on the Radio. But when Queen came on, oh my, they stole the show. I only watched it for the first time last year, my son put it on the TV. A lot of hard memories came very flooding back, it's the first time I cried since being rotated out of Ethiopia in 85. I served Her Majesty and Country for 34 years, plus 2 years in hospital after my last duty in Afghanistan.
I have served my Queen and Country on every Continent since 1981, I signed up on my 17th birthday. I was sent to fight for Falkland Islands in 1982 when I was 18, then in the Balkans and was in both invasions of Iraq and the war on "Terror". Myself and a fellow old timer in the Royal Marine Commandos used to sing their songs Queen, Thin Lizzy and other old bands when we came under fire to calm the younger lads by taking their minds off the incoming fire, yes they thought we were nutcases. After we had finished our assignment or patrol and we had returned to base, either in Iraq or Afghanistan, we'd sing E.L.O.s' song "I'm Alive". I also sang it at his funeral which put as smile on his widow's face. On a different occasion I was wounded, on 14 September, 2014 my son broke me out of military hospital to go to this concert because he knew I loved E.L.O. I served in the Royal Marine Commandos and more specialised forces for 34 years and have no regrets. My fellow old timer had been killed at the same time I was wounded on that occasion. We used to be dropped into regular outfits to keep us at full readiness, and back in the U.K. we work in Hospitals to maintain our medical knowledge. So my son knew seeing E.L.O. in Hyde Park would give me a bit of a pick me up. He also did it again and took me to Glastonbury in 2016 on another occasion I didn't keep my head down.
After being declared fit I returned to my Regiment of Irregulars as we called ourselves, and returned to Afghanistan in 2015. My team were patrolling the mountain villages when we came under aggressive sustained fire. We managed to get the civilians inside and under cover while returning fire, and managed to call in for air and ground support. The village was being attacked on 2 sides so it made it easier for the 4 of us to defend using "fire and move", and the occasional grouping fire tactics. The Taliban attacking, trying to press us harder, that's when I heard a crack followed by a ringing deafness. And at that moment my career as an active duty Trooper ended, apparently an RPG round hit a wall 5 feet away from me I was thrown and through the air about 25 feet and I hit a wall. The woman of the house dragged me into her home as I was struck by 2 rounds, and my legs and lower back were on fire. She is the bravest person I have ever known. Between her and her oldest daughter they kept me alive for 25 minutes until the area was reclaimed and safe so a helicopter could come in and retrieve me. But all I remember about that was holding her hand and refusing to let go, so she and her 2 daughters were flown out with us.
There is a happy piece of news as to how I've ended up mainly wheelchair bound. The wonderful women who saved my life now live here in the U.K. almost next door to me. If they had been left in Afghanistan the Taliban would have killed them after the village had been left by our rescue group, My Commanding Officer put a huge amount of pressure on our Ambassador and the Home Office to get them relocated to England, also my daughter and son sponsored them. Now they live in a house 5 doors away from me, and I am kept very much in check by my second "adopted" daughter and my two newest Granddaughters. So for all my fellow citizens of our planet who are sharing these uncertain time's, though things seem and are almost unbearable with the terrible loss and suffering so many are going through, we as a human race will make it through the epidemic. We just can't loose our humanity.
A little bit more icing on the cake of life is that I took Both my daughters to see E.L.O. at Wembley on the 24 June 2017. Now my daughters Dawn and Laaibah now the joy E.L.O. can put in your heart when you need it, plus the other 59,997 people who were there enjoyed it too. You can find the concert on here too. I do have a lot of physical disabilities an suffer from PTSD and depression, and in 2015 I had a daughter, 2 sons and 4 grand children. When I was still going through long hospitalisations on many occasions and massive bouts of mental pain I would always look towards my family for strength, and they always gave it to me, my 2 sons, two daughters and 7 grand children.
I enjoyed reading your comment 💚 take care x
@@dennetlane2870 what a story!
They were and are legends in their own right. They've tried to replicate the amp that Deacon invented and have yet to do it. No band will ever have the unique sound that Queen had because of that amp. They were able to balance the sound of each individual, no one played over the other, Freddie was never drowned out by the instruments, he was able to soar above them to be heard crystal clear. Roger is my favorite drummer and feel he was under appreciated in the music world. I agree with you as Brian May being the best guitar player. I've heard...again "heard" not stating as fact, that he never hit a wrong cord on those guitars and if he did....no one ever caught it. Kinda like Freddie, even on the rare occasion his voice would crack, it was still in tune and sounded good...the "human auto tune" 😂😂😂😂 Not to mention in the 80's all the cords in the stage they had to dance over and around as to not fall, took a lot of skill as much as this band moved around.
I’m dipping my oar in here for Roger Taylor. This man is an amazing drummer and a wonderful vocalist, but he hardly ever gets mentioned and I think that’s such an oversight on most reactors parts. Yes , I’m a huge Roger Taylor fan and I also love his solo work. Really enjoyed your reaction, many thanks.
Somebody needs to get you an audiobook deal man, your voice is phenomenally soothing
This is EPIC! The whole Concert! Never one to care about time limits....Thank You for your passion! I never got to see Queen live...now I have.
So sorry forgot to thank you so much for this. You’ve given a lot of people that don’t have access to the concert the ability to be able to watch it with you. Cheers mate.
The moves that Freddie makes signals to the others how long too go for or cut off, they do everything very much by eye, you'll notice that they all look at each other and towards Freddie,or chat with one another in the live concerts
Brilliant !!!!
Live Queen is the best, perfect music machine
Thanks a lot for this epic full concert and reaction! Awesome!!! It's really worth every second and minute. Queen is a true musical miracle. Unfortunately, the energy, charisma and incredible talent that these guys had cannot be found today. They were like one family together and loved their audience. They loved music more than money and that was and is the reason for their success and uniqueness. Thank you for making my day beautiful.
Wembley/London was their backyard. Such a great show especially the opening.
Amazing!!! You are still the best! Love Queen!
Fantasmagorical. Seen individual songs from this concert but never sat and watched the entire show. It was tremendous. How talented they all were and Freddie, well there’s nothing new I can add to what’s been said and written about him. Just a legend. 🔥
Queen sure knew how to put on a concert! And I agree that Brian May is one of the best guitar players ever.
Love me some Deaky! Some of the best baselines ever! Thank you for acknowledging him. Very few do.
Wow WOW WOW. Dude you rock. The band rock as they always do. And Freddie the greatest that walked the Earth. My heart, my soul, my life. Nothing or nobody compares to him or ever will
Queen makes me happy most typically and yes they are very talented all of them
FIRST CLASS SHOW...😙😙💪🤘🤘👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Thanks so much dear for react "with us" this magnificent performance! God save the "QUEEN" ❤️👑👑👑👑
I watched the whole video bro. Excellent! CZcams needs more reactors like you. People who know what they're talking about!! Queen has been my #1 band since I was 7 in 1980. No band ever came close and no band ever will nor will there ever be a singer as good as Freddie Mercury!
You're correct in everything you say 👌
Miss the old Wembley stadium but was old and not fit for purpose so was demolished and a new stadium built that opened about 12 or 13 years ago. This was a wonderful gig I went the other night they played here and a few weeks later at knebworth the last ever gig with Freddie
OhMyGOSH, You are so. SO. LUCKY.... I ENVY you!💕
Thank you for showing the whole concert. I agree you learn more about a band listening to the albums and concerts in whole. Especially with Queen there are so many great songs people don’t know but they are masterful. ❤
Truly a ma zing! Thankyou for reacting to the whole concert. I wish I could've seen Queen live with Freddie. But thats why I love the Queen reactions, their legacy lives on. Much bless and love dear ❤
It’s truly amazing. Performing today is smoke and mirrors. This was an iconic performance and owning the stage is so important. This song rings true today where we are striving for unity instead of strife. We the people not our government must accomplish that dream!!! Great song
Do truly well said
This is a masterclass in performance
What a treat being able to watch the concert in one go.A big thank you from Scotland
Every inch of their beings are stretched & maximizing every note & key on every beat / wow
What an intelligent review of a concert.Well done mate. Can't understand how few watched.Sadly it maybe people like the bite size chunks 25 minutes. Not me I thought it great as it was.
They did two nights Friday and Saturday in July 1986 both shows are totally different in the way song's are sung as they didn't want someone coming to see exactly the same shows each time, and this is around 80,000 people
I don’t have time to watch the whole thing right away, but I hit Like because I *know* you’re going to love it!
Epic/relevant today still class
What an amazing Concert! Freddie, Brian, John and Roger are extraordinary musicians!
Such an incredible concert with masterful performances. Freddie was truly a master showman. His control of the crowd was magical. RIP Freddie.
Thanks for this reaction. I needed that.
Since you're into racing to albums and concerts in their entirety, how bout "A Night at the Opera" (by Queen). There are several underappreciated songs on that album as well as all the hits.
Great reaction! It just doesn't get any better than Queen!!!!
Brother
Your Q journey has been amazing to share, thanks for this - as you said ‘now that’s how you start a show’
Love from South Africa 🇿🇦
I was there - one of the most memorable events in my life
Wouldn't be nice go back in time and drama crew go to this concert. Together.!!
So many bands have so many great songs that are hardly ever heard.. Many bands on the scale of Queen are in the fortunate position to have so many fans who can dig into the archives and appreciate their works, many don't, but I wish this for every band. Most bands I feel deserve a fan base of people to appreciate their creations.
Milton Keynes 1982 was also brilliant and different of course
As a guitarist Brian May falls in the category of very melodic players and writers that fit very well in a band structure with multiple writers. Other top example would be David Gilmour and Slash.
In a live environment Brian plays and blends rhythm and lead guitar at the greatest level... he is the best out of all major rock guitarists. Some of them play live very loose and sloppy and others have additional guitarists playing rhythm.
I would also put Mark Knopfler in the melodic category as well.
All Hail king of queen
That was wonderful - thank you. I stayed up way too late to finish the entire concert. Work will be rough tomorrow but it was so worth it.
Thanks for reaction !😊
Yeah i agree with what you said about Bryan, I also think john should get more credit he was a great bassist, also wrote 3 or 4 number 1 hits
I love how John Deacon plays in the songs he wrote: Another One Bites the dust and I want to Break Free. He is hilarious!
Great reaction! It is always fantastic when someone is prepared to react to a whole concert. It is different from only reacting to one song at a time, you can really appreciate the energy of a full show. You should definitely check out a 70's show as well, Queen did change a lot over the years, you can try Queen live at the Rainbow 1974 or Queen live at the Hammersmith Odeon 1975.
I was up til 0430 this am watching this concert. Queen makes me so happy!! I needed this. Thank you. 👑
This concert was SO amazing and the energy it’s just out of this world, if you want to do another one i REALLY recommend Queen live at Montreal 1981, along with this one it’s one of the best they ever did in my opinion, Freddie’s voice was at his peak, we get to hear more of Roger singing and Brian and John are incredible as always too! hope you can react to it sometime xx
Im so glad you did this whole concert. One of my favorites!!
That was a concert. Wow, they didn't stop to break. That alone was amazing. I love it. Amazing lady gaga got her name from a Queen son! Thank you mr. Bypo, i cannot find reactions where whole concerts or albums are reacted. This way seems we are watching the concert together which is kind of cool.
Fabulous, what a concert ,thank you for this amazing experience !
Sir- you are awesome!! Your reactions are spot on! Thank you and by the way- your voice?? Magnificent!!
I’m a Queen fan since 1976😛
Brian May is one of the greatest guitar players of all time.
Current Artists are so lazy today thanks to the electronic age. Just think about this...Freddie was undergoing the barbaric AIDS treatments at the time, including radiation and constantly battling throat infections.
I challenge any Artist today to strap that on and tour/perform like our great Artists of yesterday!
Bravo! No one would take that challenge , Freddie’s been gone 30 years and still rules the music world. . IMO.
Cheers mate
Under Pressure is the bass players song really John Deacon came up with the riff.
You are so right on Sir!! You see it- you see and hear it! Fabulous!! Thank you!!
I think your voice is the smoothest I've ever heard.
These 4 geniuses......yep that’s it. 🎼🎶🎹🎸🎵🎵🔥🤘😎
Prompts to KING
SO JANUARY 17TH 2023 AN HERE'S LOOKING AT YOU QUEEN MISS YOU SO MUCH FREDDIE AN JOHN 😘💕
Hopefully this will still be up when I get the time to watch all of it and hear you’re thoughts of it thanks my friend 👍
I've been to hundreds of shows and seen many bands. The music was ridiculously great and the ticket prices were reasonable!!!👌👍✌🎶😎
Sorry, I forget, thank's for your great reaction to the whole concert!
Cannot take credit and forgot the author but read a quote about Freddie, "Funny microphone in one hand...and the whole world in the other."
Was SO excited when I came across this! I've seen this MANY times!! Can't wait for you to see this!!
1:17:00 starts tears
As Freddie said on live performance " Deaf and blind them in the first 10 minutes and then up it from there"
From the UK 🇬🇧. HI thanks for this. Going to watch this in bits I’m afraid. I’m quite unwell. Was born with a rare type of Sickle Cell and things aren’t looking good. So if I’m not in hospital, I’m in bed. Have this recorded on my sky Q but just with everything going on haven’t been able to watch it. I’m on my MacBook Pro and iPad either studying for my teacher training or watching Queen or Jessie J reactions. Frankly Americans reacting to all things British be it music, comedies or GNS. Dr Brian May built that guitar (The Red Special) in the 70s with his Dad from wood from a 200 year tree. He can’t insure it because it’s invaluable. He also uses a British halfpenny or penny as his pick.
Vincit Omnia Veritas. TAS hope you feel some symptom relief soon !
Vincit Omnia Veritas. TAS Best Wishes and allow music to bring comfort!
I’m Weak For Deaky Oh thank you. Thanks for caring. The whole world is upside down and inside out. Hope you are keeping well and safe. In the scheme of things being British with the NHS, I’m lucky not just to be alive but have the best care available. I nursed for 18 years to give back to the NHS and as said studying for teacher training to give back to a society and country that has given me so much. I’m terminally ill and the government has been informed so that I can be looked after even better if need be. Was given 6 months in April which is scary but I’m too much of a stubborn cow to let anyone but me say when I leave this realm. 😜. I’m a fighter to still be alive at my age is more than I can thank God for everyday. But the longer I live the more tenuous my life is and in these times. Nursing taught me that everyone is dealt cards in life and has a story. The difference is the period that we play our cards. These are all uncontrollable, What is in my absolute control is my mindset and knowing that I’m a fighter. Thanks again chick. Please stay safe and healthy. By the way I’m weak for Deaky too. My hearing is so finely tuned to the sound of a bass guitar because of him. He’s adorable and I’m yet to hear another bassist as good as him. 😍🤗
Texas Magnolia Hey thank you. I do. No matter what we go through every second, minute, hour, day, month nor year. There’s a song. Music the only true universal language. Keep safe, healthy, rocking and jibing. Your wishes are truely appreciated. Look after yourself and loved ones.
Vincit Omnia Veritas. TAS get well, don't come better than Queen and Jessie J
Thank you y favourite Queen concert looking forward to this ❤️
The middle section of Bohemian Rhapsody when they disappeared off stage is not live, it is the studio version piped in because it used too many recording tricks to pull of live. They pull this off beautifully and you can hardly tell when they come back live at the end of the “opera” section. Notice they also skipped the beginning of the studio version because it’s all Freddy’s voice dubbed in harmony. Obviously they can’t do that live either.
Forever is not today👏👏👏👏👏👏🤘
Thank you for this Reaction
2 hour reaction? Marathon Man!
Yeah, I don't even know why i do this anymore lol
Really, really hope You will continue. Have You on my notifications. Queen was my favorite band in my younger days and still is.
@@BypoeleurEntertainment
@@BypoeleurEntertainment I grestly appreciate the genius of Queen, but not a huge fan. Many of their songs are just not my cup of tea.
Cause you are loved..
@@BypoeleurEntertainment your fans really appreciate this!. I got my Saturday work done! Now I'm gonna enjoy the show! OFMD Obseessive Freddie Mercury Disorder! That's me!
Whats amazing about the 86 tour, their last with Freddie. Last real Queen tour as far as I'm concerned. Is that Freddie was 40 and already had the symptoms of Aids although he wasn't officially diagnosed till 87. He was unwell. What a professional.
Four geniuses walk into a bar...
You’re right this band was awesome!! Freddie Mercury, Brian May, Roger Deacon and Roger Taylor are my second band only next to Led Zeppelin and ELO/Jeff Lynn. Hey when we gonna here some ELO?? :))
Oops mean John Deacon
Oops meant John Deacon got ahead of myself there!! Cheers!!
Love John Deacon!!!
Grab 4th gear, LETS Go
Brian May is the best guitar 🎸 players in the world 🌍 I agree x
You are right, Brian's Solo sounds odd at times. I thought so too, until i realized he set up harmonics, playing a duet with his own Guitar's Echo from the Stadion Speakers.
55:19. Onward Descruooosting...love
Love your cool reactions
you should react to Brian Mays live version of Love of my life in 2005. Brians beautiful voice with an amazing crowd 🤩 i reeeealy recommend it! in my opinion it is a better version that the one at Wembley 👀
As Justin Wilson sayes,, I Guarantee y'all
Craig Lee hey, you quoted my Uncle Justin....raggin’ Cajun! Awesome!
Hope I didn't offend family...loved Uncle...just thought come to mind. Still thinking I miss great cooking.😚😚✌🖒🖒
*Roger not Robert, lol
Accidents happen
Bass player dressed different again I see
Thanks 4 plate... eating now
Fried chicken is spot on
Amazing 👌💜
Brad Setzar done good remix
Please react to Frank Zappa - Fembot In A Wet T Shirt/On The Bus/Why Does It Hurt When I Pee? in that order. Its like one song and it will leave you speechless. Its one of the craziest and greatest songs of all time..
Little Roy mix...great
Please please please do live aid...you won’t regret it!!! Also under pressure live at wembley and somebody to love live in Montreal. But for sure please do live aid!!!🖖🏻🇨🇦😊
😊😊😊😊
