Hey! So far it lasted for months of daily World of Warcraft raids without an issue. Only time can tell, worst case scenario you will get a replacement with the 2 year warranty. I had mine for 10 months and so far it's looking good! Cheers

@@CRANEREVIEWS That's the comment I was looking for. I haven't boughten it yet because theres only a few negative reviews anywhere for this thing and they all mention the outer material failing in 1-2 months, and I wanted to hear from someone whos had it for a while on how well its held up.
Hey, I loved your video, but now I dont know which one to get, I have a ROG Claymore Core, and before watching your video I didn't even know that an official ROG wrist rest existed, it looks really good and really high quality, specially combined with the official ASUS ROG keyboard; however, by looking at the Hyper X one that one looks taller and more comfortable. So am I mistaken and they're the same height/thickness?, And how deep is the foam on the ROG one? I have large hands and Im concerned that since that one sticks to the keyboard it might get uncomfortable to type the lower row of keys, because despite having almost the same height according to the product pages, the ROG one cannot be repositioned. You mentioned in your video that for casual typing is perfect and for gaming you preferred the Hyper X one. In my case I do more typing than gaming, since almost always I play with a controller. Anyways sorry for the longest comment ever, hopefully you can reply to this and help me to take a decision
Hey, I will test and familiarize myself with the two after work, I can make small videos showing differences just for you too. You can reposition the ROG one, but I find the HyperX more comfortable, and the materials to be more pleasant (Asus is fake leather vs memory foam on HyperX)... But yeah, I will try to make a more informed reply when I get home.

I am looking for a wrist rest for my new Hyperx Alloy FPS Pro.
When I was using the HyperX Alloy FPS Pro I usually used it with the Asus ROG TKL wrist pad as it fits perfectly and looks stunning, unfortunately HyperX doesn't like it's "PRO" users, you don't get the extra key caps and have to pay through the roof for them, no carrying case either (isn't the TKL supposed to be made to taken to LAN's and stuff?).
I hope they will make a TKL version of this wrist rest, but alas, for now I would go with the Asus ROG (from my limited experience, of wrist pads I made reviews on).

I am trying to go against the flow - short and informative videos (CZcams’s algorithm that promotes videos does so based on watch time, so the shorter the video, the harder it is to get promoted). I value your time, no half hour unboxing and I am actually trying to test things in a way that makes sense and would benefit you as a consumer.
No clickbait, weird thumbnails or other bullshit that is supposed to attract viewers.
While I am no pro at photo editing and can’t afford a studio, I am trying my best to make minimalistic and quality content.
So if you share the video, donate or use one of my affiliate links I would greatly appreciate it!
Comments and likes, supposedly, also help with getting the video noticed, as it shows CZcams that people are “engaged”, the problem is most “older” people don’t really comment that much, so it’s kinda tricky.
P.S.: one of my favourite wrist rests and I am still using it as of July 2020!
How do u compare this with razer ergonomic wrist rest? Is hyperx better?
I tried both, I like the feel of HyperX more, but if you have the opportunity I would try to touch em both

I wouldn't outright wash it, a damp cloth would be a better idea, but yeah, you can clean it.

Wouldn't say it changed at all, I was mostly using the Asus for 6 months, but now I'm using HyperX daily for a dozen hours a day.
@@CRANEREVIEWS I used a similar wrist rest the shape and it's memory foam. Been using it for 3 years now the pad sank in. So I was wondering since the hyperx has a gel would it sink in or not

don't buy HyperX Wrist Rest, it smells so bad. That rubbery smell is very strong and intimidating
