I like Smart but I can't go through a season that's dependent on whether or not he shoots the ball well because he shoots too much. They don't need a better Brooks. Defense and hustle is the culture. Trade Smart and LaRavia
I think we’re looking at peak value LaRavia. Attach him to a Smart or Kennard trade to reduce necessary draft compensation in a trade
agree about jake being peak value but also not sure if that's worth anything to other teams
The smart play would be to make Smart, Kennard, LaRavia, Konchar, and Santi available in trades, to put together a more balanced roster. But I can't see the FO even considering Smart since they just traded for him.

Bro you were everywhere with this post. Only thing you covered that made sense is moving Luke for center. Wendell makes a ton of sense. But the rest of your episode was crazy 😂. Smart fit Wiggins or Cam Johnson would be terrible given their fit and salary.
smart is a 2, wiggins is a 3/4 so is cam johnson. also cam johnson and marcus smart make the exact same amount in 2025-26
I like Luke, but how much of an impact is he really making when he only shoots five threes per game or whatever? If he were an absolute gun-slinger it'd be a different story, but because he's not that guy, I agree with you that the Grizzlies would be much better served using that fifteen million in salary on a legitimate big man. If not Hartenstein, maybe Goga Bitadze?

I would trade smart, not Luke. Vince would replace smart but no one replaces Luke for three point shooting.
